Saras And Kumud 25th August 2025 Written Update Starlife
The episode begins with Kumud staring in shock at the wall, which now looks perfectly fine. The crack she had clearly seen earlier is gone. Confused, she tells Saras about it, insisting that it was right there, but Saras shakes his head and says there’s nothing. He tries to brush it off, suggesting maybe she only imagined it, but Kumud is certain of what she saw. Saras tells her not to worry, since the wall looks fine now, and reminds her to hurry with cooking as he has to leave for the office. Even as he leaves, Kumud keeps asking herself where the crack could have disappeared. While she’s lost in thought, she notices that her and Saras’s photograph has been placed upside down. At that moment, the maid walks in, complaining that some strange paint stains won’t come off the floor. She asks if she can wash her dusting cloth in the kitchen since there’s no water in the bathroom. Kumud nods. While cleaning, the maid casually mentions that she found a key near the sofa and sets it on the table.

Elsewhere, Prashant observes the now flawless wall and smirks to himself. A flashback reveals how he and Mahesh had secretly entered the flat using duplicate keys. In a hurry, they patched up the crack with plaster and paint to erase any evidence of their crime. Mahesh had warned him that this was dangerous—that if Kumud and Saras discovered the truth, they would be caught. Unlike Prashant, he had a family to think about. But Prashant dismissed his fears, insisting nothing would go wrong. Before leaving, Prashant had noticed Kumud and Saras’s photo frame and angrily placed it upside down. As Mahesh urged him to hurry, he forgot and accidentally left the keys behind.
Later, when Prashant remembers the keys, panic sets in. He vows to retrieve them at any cost. Meanwhile, at the Desai house, Kabir notices Badimaa and Vidyachatur unusually quiet. Vidyachatur confesses that after Saras and Kumud left, the family had grown used to their absence, but Anushka had always filled that emptiness with her cheerful spirit. Now that she, too, is leaving, the house feels hollow again. Kabir is stunned—he had no idea she was departing. Badimaa urges him to go quickly if he wants to see her. He rushes outside only to dream that he’s chasing after her taxi, calling her name as she disappears. Suddenly he wakes with a start, realizing it was only his imagination.
In reality, Anushka is still with the family. Badimaa lovingly offers her aam panna and embraces her. Anushka smiles, saying she never felt like a guest here; she truly found a family. She assures them she will return once her work is finished. Everyone blesses her, urging her not to stay away for long. Kabir lingers silently, watching her with unspoken emotions.
Back at Kumud’s place, Prashant arrives pretending to have a headache. Kumud, ever helpful, offers him medicine and water. While she’s distracted, he secretly searches the room for the lost key. To buy more time, he asks her to make him tea. Kumud agrees and heads to the kitchen. Quickly, Prashant finds the key hidden beneath a mat and pockets it. When Kumud returns with the tea, he pretends to have dropped his phone. As she gets a call from Badimaa, Prashant’s eyes fall on the four dots of sindoor on Kumud’s neck, and a twisted smile spreads across his face. On the call, Kumud warmly asks Badimaa for motichoor laddoos. When Badimaa inquires about Saras, Kumud admits he has been very busy with work. Hearing Saras’s name makes Prashant’s expression darken, and he abruptly leaves, seething with jealousy. Kumud wonders why he left so suddenly.
Meanwhile, at the Desai household, everyone gathers for breakfast. Kabir asks where Anushka is, and just then she arrives, announcing that her packing is done. Danny walks in and casually asks for food, but Kusum, visibly upset, hesitates to serve him. When pressed, she makes sharp, indirect taunts at him. Danny quickly recalls his business brunch with a client and decides to skip breakfast altogether. Before leaving, he wishes Anushka a safe flight and jokingly asks her to take care of his “friend.” Kusum’s face darkens as she secretly recalls checking Danny’s phone the night before and finding affectionate messages from a woman named Kiran.
Elsewhere, Saras is tense after learning about a stay order that has stalled his project. Kumud calls to inform him that Badimaa has been asking about him. Distracted and worried, Saras promises to call later and hurriedly ends the conversation. Back at the Desai house, everyone urges Anushka to stay longer, but she gently refuses, promising that next time she will stay for much longer. Before leaving, she says her goodbyes. Looking at Kabir, she teasingly admits she knows he never liked her pranks. Kabir forces a smile, but when he spots the project file she accidentally left behind, he quietly hides it under a pillow.
Just as Anushka is ready to depart, Badimaa hands her laddoos for herself and for Kumud. Suddenly, Anushka realizes her important project file is missing—it even contains her ID card. Panicking, she asks everyone to help search. Kabir pretends to look but secretly knows exactly where it is. Badimaa notices his expression and smiles knowingly.
