The episode begins with Kabir having a secretive conversation with Ghuman. He tells her that Danny will be leaving for Dubai and will soon be under her control. Ghuman, pleased with the news, thanks him, but Kabir reminds her of the promise she made to him. Curious, she asks what he plans to ask for. Kabir hints that when the time is right, he’ll reveal his demand, and he’s confident he’ll get what he wants. Ghuman agrees to wait and tells him he’s special to her. Kabir says he just needs some time. Ghuman assures him they’ll have all the time in the world once her work is done. She leaves with a satisfied smile. Menka then arrives and tells Kabir she’s found the perfect match for Ghuman and that Ghuman has walked straight into their trap. They both laugh, but Kabir reminds her that they have bigger goals ahead. Menka agrees, saying that what truly matters is the real mission.

Meanwhile, Kumud reaches a dance club, where she observes the performers on stage. A man informs Sunanda that a woman has come with him and is asking about her old friend. As the man steps away, Sunanda walks up to Kumud and asks what she wants. Kumud directly brings up Ghuman’s name, which stuns Sunanda. Her expression hardens instantly. She turns away in anger and questions why Kumud dared to mention that name in front of her. Sunanda calls Ghuman not a woman, but a venomous presence, and insists she won’t speak about her. She coldly tells Kumud to leave. Kumud tries to reason with her, saying she has come from far and that only Sunanda can help her. But Sunanda remains firm and tells her to go. As Kumud begins to walk away, Sunanda is struck by her tears and pauses.
Kumud tells her that while Ghuman may be part of Sunanda’s past, she is a threat in Kumud’s present. If Sunanda wants, she can stop Kumud’s family from falling apart. Her sincerity moves Sunanda, who stops her. She warns Kumud that she sees deceit daily in her line of work, and if Kumud has come with lies, she’ll be able to spot them instantly. Kumud insists she’s telling the truth. Sunanda asks her to look her in the eye and say who she really is and what ties she has to Ghuman. Kumud recalls her painful memories involving Ghuman, Kabir, and Menka. She finally confesses that she is Ghuman’s daughter-in-law. Sunanda is stunned. Kumud quickly clarifies that she hasn’t come to slander Ghuman, only to find out the truth she’s hiding—one that’s threatening her family. Sunanda asks her whether she is Ghuman’s real son’s wife or the step-son’s. She reveals she has known Ghuman since childhood and says Kumud’s troubled expression proves that Ghuman is still as toxic as ever.
Back at home, Kusum tells the family to wait a bit longer—Kumud might return soon. Just then, the doorbell rings. Kabir enters, holding a file meant for Saras. He’s greeted with concern as Saras tells him Kumud went to a friend’s mehendi ceremony but hasn’t returned yet. Vidyachatur says they are all waiting for her so they can start the aarti. Kabir agrees to stay. Menka quietly enters after Kabir, and Ghuman watches Kabir with a smile. Saras tries calling Kumud, but her phone is switched off. He grows more worried, wondering where she could be.
At the club, Sunanda finally asks Kumud what she wants to know. Kumud believes that since Sunanda clearly despises Ghuman, she might reveal everything. She pleads with her to share whatever she knows. But Sunanda says it’s the start of choti Navratri, and she needs to do her aarti first. She invites Kumud to come with her. Kumud mentions that her family must be worried and asks to call them, but her phone is dead. She requests to charge it, and Sunanda agrees.
At home, the family remains tense. Saras is distressed and wonders aloud where Kumud has gone. Ghuman, visibly irritated, insists that the aarti must begin on time. She urges Kusum to start. Though reluctant, Guniyal and Kusum agree and proceed with the aarti. Sunanda, at the same time, performs her own aarti, and Kumud joins her in prayer. Saras prays as well, asking for Kumud’s safe return. Kumud silently assures him that she’s coming back soon.
Vidyachatur asks Saras what they should do next. Saras admits he’s at a loss. Guniyal encourages him to stay strong. Kusum says she knows all of Kumud’s friends, but none mentioned any wedding. Saras decides they need to call Kumud’s friends to find out the truth. Ghuman quietly observes everything. Soon, the family starts calling Kumud’s friends and realizes there was no mehendi function at all. Guniyal is shocked and wonders where Kumud could have gone. Saras is stunned too—why would Kumud lie to them? He says they need to start searching for her immediately. Kabir volunteers to help, and they leave together. Kusum tells Danny to go too, and he follows. Ghuman watches everything unfold silently.
