The episode begins with Vidyachatur praising Kumud for her efforts. But Kumud humbly gives the credit to Saras for being there and saving the school. Badimaa smiles and remarks that Saras and Kumud are incomplete without each other, and when they unite, they can accomplish anything. Danny adds that Anushka deserves praise too, since it was her idea to help the parents understand the value of education. Kumud thanks Anushka, who smiles and promises to show Kumud all the best places in Mumbai. Just then, Saras receives a call from Mehta and confirms that he will be leaving for Mumbai the next day. He informs Vidyachatur about his departure, and Badimaa lovingly tells him she’ll cook his favorite meal since he won’t get that in Mumbai. Saras glances at Kumud with a sense of sadness.

Later, Kumud sits in her room, looking tense. Saras approaches and gently tells her that he understands what she’s feeling. He assures her that it’s okay if she doesn’t want to come to Mumbai now, but he has made a commitment and has to go. Saras promises to return soon and embraces her, offering comfort. That night, Kabir peeks into Anushka’s room and mutters that things would be easier if she weren’t around. He accidentally bumps into a table and injures himself, drawing Anushka’s attention. She mimics his limping walk and attitude, irritating him further. As they exchange sarcastic names—”idiot” and “sadu”—Saras happens to see them and asks why they’re walking so strangely. Kabir complains that she was mocking him, but Saras just walks away.
In the hall, Kabir tends to his injured foot. Anushka sees him and realizes he was genuinely hurt. Concerned, she asks him, but he brushes it off, accusing her of making fun of him. When she tries to explain that her slipper was broken, he refuses to listen and tells her to leave. Danny then appears and hands Anushka a new slipper, confirming her story. Kabir overhears and realizes his mistake. He tries to explain, but Anushka shuts him down with an “I don’t care” and walks away, leaving Kabir calling her “idiot” again. Meanwhile, Saras sits quietly in his room. Kumud enters, and he notices her silence. He gently asks her why she’s so quiet and reminds her that he promised to return soon. Kumud, with tears in her eyes, asks if he can really live without her. Saras turns the question back to her, admitting that they don’t have those answers yet. Holding her hand, he shares a thought—that being apart doesn’t mean not supporting each other. Sometimes, distance brings hearts even closer. He kisses her forehead and hugs her tightly as the emotional O Piya song plays.
The next morning, Saras prepares to leave for Mumbai. Everyone gathers to bless him. He hugs each family member, asking Danny and Kabir to take care of the house and factory. Anushka jokingly offers help if he runs into any issues in Mumbai, to which Kabir says there won’t be any problems with her around. Saras looks around for Kumud. Danny hints that everything is ready, and Vidyachatur asks if he packed everything. Saras confirms. Badimaa teases him about something being left behind—Kumud. Everyone smiles. Just then, Kumud arrives, smiling. Saras is surprised and thrilled to see her. Vidyachatur announces that Kumud will be going with her husband. Saras is delighted. Danny shares that they’ve already packed Kumud’s luggage. Kumud smiles at Saras and asks if he could really leave without waiting for her answer. Tearfully, she confesses that she can’t live without him and asks if he now has the answer he was looking for. Saras replies with a joyful “Yes.” Piya Re plays again as they share a heartfelt moment.
Kumud hugs everyone and takes their blessings. Vidyachatur reminds her to call daily, and Badimaa lovingly tells her to look after Saras as well. Kumud asks Danny to care for Kusum in her absence. Holding hands, Saras and Kumud wave goodbye as Danny and Kabir drive them to the airport. Back at home, the family anxiously waits for a call from them. Vidyachatur is especially nervous, but Badimaa comforts him. The scene shifts to Mumbai as the plane lands. The cityscape is shown in all its busy glory. Anushka, overhearing people talk about Mumbai, shares how the city never sleeps, has auto rickshaws at any hour, and fulfills everyone’s dreams.
