Saras And Kumud Monday 1st September 2025 Written Update Starlife
The episode begins with Kumud bringing tea for Prashant. He notices the photo of Saras and Kumud together and smiles, saying they look like a perfect couple, made for each other. Kumud thanks him politely. Prashant goes on to praise Saras, calling him a good man, and says he can clearly see how deeply Kumud loves her husband. He adds that very few people share such love and understanding and wishes that their bond always stays strong. He reminds Kumud not to let Saras take too much stress, saying all of Saras’ recent health troubles have been caused by it. Kumud apologizes for being rude to him earlier, but Prashant brushes it off with a smile, telling her he never stays upset with people he likes. Saras then comes into the room and begins chatting with Prashant, while Kumud heads to the kitchen.

As she leaves, Prashant keeps staring at her. Saras notices this and immediately asks what is going on. Prashant shamelessly replies that he was simply admiring her beauty. Saras is taken aback. He puts the tea aside and warns Prashant to watch his words. But Prashant only pushes further, describing Kumud’s eyes, hair, and smile in an inappropriate way. Saras loses his temper, telling him to stop at once. Still, Prashant continues, now talking about Kumud’s lips and her body. Saras explodes, shouting that if he says another word he will break his mouth. At that moment Kumud returns and asks what’s happening. Saras, boiling with rage, tries to explain but Prashant quickly plays innocent. Putting on an act, he pretends Saras is unwell and must be imagining things. Saras, unable to tolerate more, kicks Prashant out of the house. Prashant only smiles as he leaves, showing he has achieved what he wanted.
Meanwhile, Anushka is restless, waiting for Kabir. Danny worries as well, wondering where Kabir has gone when they had an important meeting scheduled. His phone is off, and no one knows where he is. Anushka feels guilty, admitting to everyone that Kabir had proposed to her the previous night and she said no. Kusum asks if that is the reason he left so suddenly. Danny confirms that Kabir must be upset, but Vidyachatur reassures Anushka not to worry and says Kabir will return. Still, Guniyal is anxious, fearing Kabir might do something reckless. Badimaa recalls how restless Kabir was and how he had stopped her from speaking to Anushka about his feelings. Anushka grows increasingly tense, while Danny decides they should wait a little longer.
Back at home, Kumud questions Saras about his outburst. Saras tells her bluntly that Prashant is not the good man she thinks he is, and repeats the filthy things he said when Kumud was away. But Kumud refuses to believe it. She argues that Prashant has always been helpful—he even rushed Saras to the hospital the other day—and insists Saras must have misunderstood. Saras, feeling betrayed by her lack of trust, angrily storms out. Kumud stands worried, torn between her husband’s fury and the gratitude she feels toward Prashant.
Elsewhere, Anushka remains worried about Kabir’s disappearance. Badimaa urges Danny to go search for him. Danny, Kusum, and Anushka set out together, checking all the places Kabir might have gone. Anushka suggests the library, remembering Kabir once dropped her there. But when they look, Kabir is nowhere to be found. Anushka starts to panic, suggesting they should inform the police. Danny calms her, saying Kabir probably just needs space. He tries to explain Kabir’s pain-filled past and asks her to try to understand him. He reminds Anushka that though she doesn’t believe in marriage or love, Kabir is different—he is good-hearted and deserves a chance. But Anushka shakes her head, saying she cannot love anyone and marrying him would only ruin his life further.
Meanwhile, Saras drives through the city, still fuming. He keeps repeating to himself that Kumud didn’t trust him and even accused him of misunderstanding. Kumud’s defense of Prashant only deepens his anger. Saras recalls all the strange incidents since their arrival in Mumbai—Prashant offering them his flat when he never gave it to anyone else, the sudden power cut that night, how he conveniently took them in, and how he personally took Kumud shopping. The pieces finally start coming together. Saras realizes he has been blind all along and vows not to spare Prashant. He tries calling Kumud, but she ignores the call, saying to herself that she feels suffocated at home and needs to step outside. Saras grows even more worried and rushes back.
Outside, as Kumud walks out of the building, a young woman mistakes her for someone named Pooja. She quickly apologizes, explaining that she has been in the US for years and came to meet her friend Pooja, who lives in flat 1003. Kumud replies that she and Saras live there now and no one else has stayed in that flat for the last two years. The girl seems surprised, but Kumud leaves without asking further. Saras arrives just in time and stops the girl, asking about Pooja. He learns from her that Pooja was close to Prashant and indeed lived in their flat. Saras then asks for Pooja’s relatives’ contact details. The girl, sensing urgency, shares the number with him. When she shows Saras a photo of Pooja, he is stunned—Pooja looks exactly like Kumud.
Back at home, the family continues to worry about Kabir. Guniyal fears he might be hiding his emotions too much and could break under the pressure. Vidyachatur insists Kabir will not harm them and only needs some time. Badimaa suggests they should talk to Anushka and help her realize Kabir’s love once he returns. Everyone agrees.
Meanwhile, Saras grows convinced that Prashant is somehow connected to Pooja and that Pooja’s resemblance to Kumud is not a coincidence. He decides he must find out the truth and expose Prashant before it’s too late.
