Saras And Kumud On Starlife Friday 27th June 2025 Written Episode Update
Danny comes to meet Kusum, but before he can say a word, Yash’s mother steps in and begins to taunt him. She accuses him of betrayal and mocks him for adding to their misery. Vidyachatur arrives and tells Danny not to visit often, saying they’ll leave the place soon. Guniyal questions him emotionally, asking if they hadn’t given him enough love—why, then, was he trying to take everything from them? Yash’s mother continues her tirade, saying they had forced Kusum into marrying someone like him, a man who has only disrespected them. Kusum, deeply hurt, questions Danny—how could he do this to her after she trusted and loved him so much? She accuses him of siding with Ghuman and making them homeless. The family leaves the two alone so they can speak privately.

Once they’re alone, Kusum drops the act. She’s not angry—she’s just pretending. She asks Danny if he got the papers they’ve been looking for. He admits he hasn’t and wonders who might be secretly helping Ghuman. Kusum suspects it’s someone from within their own household. She vows to uncover the truth. Danny warns her to stay cautious and not draw suspicion. They part ways quietly. Meanwhile, Majnu informs Saras that Kusum is on their side and will definitely come through for them.
Badimaa calls Saras and asks about Kumud. Saras tells her everything—how Kumud was sold off and is now missing. Badimaa is shaken and can’t stop her tears. She tells him they’re all coming to join the search—it’s become unbearable. Saras pleads with her not to. He’s still working undercover as Sheikh, and their presence could put Kumud in greater danger. Badimaa understands and urges him to stay strong. After ending the call, she prays silently for Kumud’s safe return. Kumud, held captive in Jugnu’s house, cries quietly. Jugnu walks in with tea and finds her lost in thought, softly whispering “Saras.” Surprised, he gently corrects her—“Jugnu.” He tells her she hasn’t eaten and offers her tea. When she doesn’t take it, he says it’s okay—he’ll get sindoor and a mangalsutra instead. Kumud refuses, telling him she’s already married and can never marry anyone else. Jugnu insists that once she becomes his wife, she’ll forget Saras. He promises that no one will love her more than he will and urges her not to delay their union. He leaves while Kumud weeps, calling out for Saras.
Elsewhere, Menka asks Kabir why they’re still waiting. She points out that with Danny and Kusum estranged from Saras, this is the perfect time to act. Kabir tells her just one more step remains—then they’ll get what they want. Meanwhile, Kusum brings Kajal to meet Saras. Kajal greets him flirtatiously, claiming she knew he couldn’t resist her. Majnu hands her money, asking for her help in finding Kumud. Kajal quickly realizes the trap and, feeling betrayed, throws the money on the ground and storms out. Kusum tries to stop her and pleads with her to help.
Kajal hesitates, saying Sunanda will punish her if she finds out. Majnu assures her that no one will know and begs her again. Kajal refuses—until Saras steps forward and removes his disguise. She’s stunned to see it’s really him. Moved by his desperation, Saras speaks from his heart. He tells her how much he loves Kumud—that she’s not just his wife but his reason for living. He doesn’t know if Kajal understands love, but for him, it’s everything. Kajal, touched by his sincerity, agrees to help. Saras thanks her with visible relief.
Kumud, still held inside, attempts to escape but fails. Saras, with Kajal’s guidance, starts searching the places Jugnu might be hiding. They come up empty. Kumud, desperate, begins drawing a pair of eyes—Saras’s eyes—on a piece of paper. Kajal then leads Saras to one final location she knows of. When they arrive, they find the door locked. Saras suspects this could be it. They question a nearby tea vendor. Saras breaks the lock and rushes inside, only to find an empty house.
Back with Kumud, Jugnu enters holding a sindoor box and a mangalsutra, excited to show her. He believes she’ll be happy. But Kumud is horrified and begs him to stop. He explains that he has sacrificed everything for her—sold all he had—because he can’t live without her. Still, he promises not to touch her until she accepts him. Kumud rebukes him, saying if he truly loved her, he would let her go back to Saras. Jugnu, feeling rejected, walks out in frustration.
Kajal tells Saras and Majnu that Jugnu might have taken Kumud out of the city already. She adds that Jugnu is religious—he visits the temple daily. Saras’s eyes light up. He thinks they might finally have a lead.

Kumud, distraught, says Saras must be searching for her—he can’t live without her. Jugnu quietly replies, “Even I can’t live without you.”
