Saras And Kumud On Starlife Monday 21st July 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode opens with Kabir watching Laxminandan embrace Saras. A deep longing shows in his eyes—he’s been waiting for that kind of love. Laxminandan tells Saras how proud he’s always been of him and how complete he feels now that his son understands the love he had for him. He adds that he doesn’t need anything more from life now. Kabir quietly turns to leave, but Laxminandan calls out to him, walks over, and gently stops him. He looks into Kabir’s eyes and asks, “Won’t you hug your father once?” Kabir is stunned. Overcome with emotion, he folds his hands and asks for forgiveness, then bends down to touch Laxminandan’s feet before embracing him. He sobs as he apologizes for everything. But Laxminandan blames himself—he says it was his own weakness that made him lose both Kabir and Saraswati. He admits he can’t bring Saraswati back, but begs Kabir to let him be a father now, to give him another chance at being his family. He tells Kabir he had every right to take revenge for his mother’s death.

But Kabir is full of regret now. He confesses that, like Saras, he once blamed Laxminandan and turned his back on him when he shouldn’t have. He promises that he and Saras will now do everything to make sure Laxminandan never feels Saraswati’s absence again. Kumud steps in warmly, saying Laxminandan should feel joy now—he’s finally got both his sons back. He replies that it wasn’t fate that made this possible, it was Kumud. Vidyachatur jokes through tears that while Laxminandan gains sons, he’s about to lose both his daughters to marriage. Laxminandan smiles, overwhelmed by the completeness of his reunited family. Later that night, Kumud is drying her hair and sneezes. Saras blesses her and gently scolds her for standing under the fan after bathing. He makes her sit and begins drying her hair for her. The two share a quiet, tender moment. She admits everything that happened recently feels like a bad dream—too unreal to believe. Saras tells her the hard times are over and thanks her. She asks why, and he explains it’s because of her that he got to meet his brother. She was the one who uncovered Ghuman’s truth. If it weren’t for her, Kabir would’ve remained a stranger and their family would’ve stayed incomplete. He smiles and thanks her again. She hugs him but suddenly rushes off, overcome with nausea. Saras calls after her, concerned.
The next morning, Saras tells Guniyal that Kumud has been vomiting and feeling off. Everyone exchanges knowing glances and smiles. Saras says he’ll take her to the doctor himself. He also mentions she has a headache. Laxminandan suggests giving her something for acidity, but Saras says they already tried that. Kusum offers to go with them, but Saras insists on taking Kumud alone. When Kumud arrives, Guniyal and Yash’s mother can’t hide their happiness. Guniyal hints that she should tell the doctor everything—so they can get some “good” news. Saras, confused, asks what she means. The women laugh it off and ask the couple to call them after the visit. Saras and Kumud head out, still unaware of everyone’s excitement.
Back home, Guniyal and Yash’s mother are practically giddy. Vidyachatur walks in and asks what’s going on. Yash’s mother says they’re all thinking the same thing. Vidyachatur excitedly guesses—Kumud is pregnant! Kusum squeals that a baby is coming. Everyone is filled with joy. Yash’s mother says they’ll wait for the official confirmation. Laxminandan turns to Kabir and says he’s about to become an uncle—God might have kept him from the family before, but now He’s blessing him with a new bond.
At the clinic, the doctor examines Kumud and orders some tests. Saras asks if there’s anything serious, but she only says to bring the reports back. Kumud goes for the tests while Saras gets a call from Mehta. Back at home, everyone waits eagerly, but Guniyal decides they shouldn’t pressure the couple for a call and will wait for them to return instead.
When Saras and Kumud come back, Guniyal rushes to ask what the doctor said. Saras says there’s nothing to worry about, and they’re waiting for the reports. Everyone’s smiles say they already know what’s coming. Kumud says she feels tired and heads upstairs. Guniyal insists she take it slow on the stairs. Saras is about to speak again, but he gets another urgent call and has to leave for the factory. He promises to talk in the evening. Laxminandan laughs, guessing what he was about to say. Guniyal says it’s obvious he’s shy. Vidyachatur congratulates Laxminandan, and they hug. Guniyal tells everyone to act as if they don’t know anything—they’ll wait to hear the news directly. The women start planning sweets. Guniyal wants to make gajar halwa, while Yash’s mother offers to bring pickles and laddoos.
Kumud walks in and overhears them talking about laddoos. She asks who they’re for. Guniyal covers up quickly, saying they’re for everyone. Kumud suddenly craves kulfi. Guniyal refuses and offers milk instead. Kumud resists, but the women insist, practically forcing her to drink it. Meanwhile, Kusum and Danny talk baby names—Sooraj for a boy, Kiran for a girl. Danny suggests they should give the baby a sibling. Kusum says he should first practice helping with one child before dreaming of two. Danny draws her close and gently kisses her forehead. Just as he leans in further, she pushes him playfully and runs. Danny watches her, beaming.
Later, Laxminandan and Vidyachatur play chess and joke about who will have more rights over the baby. Vidyachatur claims he’ll be the favorite grandparent. Kumud walks in and teases them for fighting again, but they laugh and tell her to rest. In another part of the house, Danny is blowing up balloons. Kusum helps him, and Kabir joins in too. Kusum insists he stop calling her Bhabhi or she’ll start calling him Jethji. He laughs and agrees to call her Kusum instead. Kumud sees the decorations and is confused. They say it’s to welcome her back home and shout “Welcome!” She smiles and walks away. Kabir suggests they should buy a gift for Saras and Kumud. Danny agrees, and they leave together to shop.
