Saras And Kumud On Starlife Monday 26th May 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Saras at the construction site, speaking to the site manager, when Kumud calls. He picks up and asks if something’s wrong. Kumud tells him they need to talk—she’s uneasy about Kabir joining him at work. She feels he’s trusting Kabir too quickly. Saras calmly replies that Kabir is talented and that he sees no reason to doubt him. But Kumud disagrees. She says Kabir’s expressions change often, and it feels like he’s hiding something. Saras insists he doesn’t share her doubts and gets irritated by her suspicions. Listening in from nearby, Ghuman hears Kumud’s concerns. Kumud says she’ll be heading home for a few hours. Ghuman smiles to herself, clearly pleased.
Meanwhile, Danny is thinking over Saras’ recent words and Kabir’s revelation about taking a loan for the project. Ghuman walks in and asks where Kusum is. Danny tells her that Kusum has a headache and is resting. Ghuman hands him a tiffin and tells him to give it to Saras, who hasn’t eaten yet. She adds that Kumud is also not around. Danny is touched by what seems like Ghuman’s concern for Saras. He says he’ll let Kusum know before he leaves, but Ghuman tells him to let her rest—she’ll inform her instead. Danny smiles and heads out.
Ghuman then goes to check on Kusum and gently asks how she’s feeling. Kusum admits she still has a headache and can’t even remember when she had the bhaang. Ghuman sweetly suggests they go to the temple for aarti and tells her she’s made a special offering (mannat) for her and Danny. Kusum smiles, touched. Ghuman picks out a saree and tells her to change into it. Kusum agrees and goes to get ready. As soon as Kusum leaves the room, Ghuman hides her phone under the pillow, then calls Kalika to check if everything’s set. Kalika confirms she’s ready. Ghuman replies that everything is on track from her side too.
On the way to the temple, Kusum suddenly realizes she can’t find her phone. Ghuman brushes it off and tells her not to worry—she’ll make sure she gets to talk to Danny. Then she pretends to have forgotten the offering at home and says she’ll go back to get it. Kusum offers to go instead, but Ghuman insists that since it’s Kusum’s mannat, she should head straight to the temple and wait there.
Elsewhere, Danny reaches the site with the tiffin and calls Kusum, but gets no answer. He assumes she’s still asleep. As he looks around, he spots a woman wearing a saree similar to Kusum’s and assumes it’s her. He wonders if Ghuman told her he was coming to the site. He calls Ghuman to ask if she told Kusum where he was going. Ghuman says she didn’t and casually asks why. When he presses further about where Kusum went, she abruptly ends the call. Danny becomes suspicious. Why would Kusum lie to him? But then again, he doesn’t want to believe that. He watches the woman carefully—she seems to be hiding her face and avoiding attention. He grows even more doubtful, wondering if Kusum is meeting Saras secretly. As he watches, some goons suddenly appear and drag the woman away. Shocked, Danny believes Kusum is in danger and rushes to help.
He reaches the spot only to realize that the woman isn’t Kusum—it’s Kalika. The goons accuse her of taking money from them and demand payment. Just then, Ghuman arrives and jumps in to “rescue” Danny. She pays the goons off, who then leave. Danny is shaken but okay. He asks Ghuman why she gave them money. She replies that they looked dangerous and says she couldn’t risk anything happening to him. Saras also arrives and demands to know who the goons were and why Kalika owes them money. Kalika panics, unsure how to explain her betting habits. Danny questions her too, but before she can answer, Ghuman intervenes and says they can question her later.
Saras insists something doesn’t feel right and presses again, asking what Kalika was doing there. Ghuman claims she only came because Danny had said Kusum was kidnapped. She explains Kusum had gone to the temple, so she rushed over. Danny then confronts Kalika about the saree—why was she dressed like Kusum? Kalika lies and says it only looks like Kusum’s, but it’s not. She claims she bought it and just happened to be passing by to see the construction work. She insists she gave the goons their money back and leaves. Saras doesn’t buy it—he knows she’s lying. Danny silently watches Saras, ashamed. He realizes he once again doubted both Saras and Kusum and can’t believe he let suspicion get the better of him.
Back at the temple, Kusum waits outside, still unaware of everything. She sees Danny arriving and greets him with a smile. Danny looks guilt-ridden. She asks why he’s here and what happened. He suggests they go home and talk. As they walk, he confesses. He says he doesn’t deserve her love, that he doubted her again and hurt her deeply, and he’s ashamed even to apologize. But Kusum smiles gently. She tells him that when everyone else lost faith in her, he was the one who stood by her. She says if he hadn’t believed in her back then, she never would have corrected her mistake. She reminds him that she’s happy with him—and he should never question that again.
Meanwhile, Ghuman is furious at Kalika for ruining her plan. Kumud sees the two of them talking and grows suspicious. She watches Kalika apologizing to Ghuman and begging for another chance. Ghuman coldly tells her to get lost and warns her not to speak about this to anyone. Kumud wonders why Kalika is wearing Kusum’s saree and why her mother is meeting her in secret.
Later, Kumud returns home, clearly upset. Saras notices and apologizes, admitting he shouldn’t have spoken to her so harshly. He explains that the whole day was chaotic and shares everything that happened, including Kalika showing up at the site and getting caught by goons. Kumud is shocked. Saras says thank goodness he and Danny were there—otherwise, who knows what might have happened.
Elsewhere, Ghuman fumes that her entire plan has fallen apart and questions whether Kabir will actually be any help. Just then, Kabir calls. He jokes that he must have a long life, since she was just thinking about him. He informs her that it’s Danny’s first solo business meeting—one that Saras knows nothing about. He says once Saras finds out, Danny will be hurt and will turn toward her instead. Kabir adds that once he finishes his job, she can praise him and fulfill her promise. Ghuman asks what he wants in return. Kabir says she’ll find out soon. Then he casually remarks that red suits her well—as she’s holding a red saree. She’s stunned and starts looking around, feeling spooked. He ends the call with a cool “take care” and a smirk.
