Saras stands firm, gripping the goon tightly as he struggles beneath his hold. His eyes dart anxiously as he looks toward Sunanda, who remains calm and confident. “Where is Kumud?” Saras demands, his voice sharp and unyielding. Sunanda meets his gaze with a cold smile. “Go ahead, kill him,” she says softly, “but then she will die right there with him.” Her words hang in the air, heavy with threat and promise. “Be smart,” she warns him, “leave him alive, or you’ll never see your wife again.”

Sunanda’s tone hardens. “Your wife is safe with us… for now. Hurt my men, and you’ll hear her screams yourself. We’ve taken good care of her.” Her warning is clear: any reckless move will end badly. She gestures to Samru and orders him to show Saras the way. Saras’ fists clench, torn between desperation and caution.
Meanwhile, Kabir quietly enters Vidyachatur’s room. The elderly man and Guniyal lie asleep, unaware of the silent intrusion. Kabir moves carefully, opening the cupboard and rifling through files with practiced hands. After finding a specific file, he slips it into his pocket, replaces the keys, and leaves without waking them. Guniyal stirs briefly but then settles back down, the quiet of the night undisturbed.
Sunanda approaches Kumud with a twisted smile and delivers “good news.” Saras tried to come for her again, but Sunanda’s men intercepted him, treating him “well.” Kumud’s eyes widen with worry and fear. “Where is he?” she demands. Sunanda’s voice drips with mock affection. “We let him go, of course — what else could he do but come back for you?” She smirks. “But if he tries again… things won’t end well.” Kumud trembles but tries to remain strong. Sunanda warns her she will have to dance for them today, a cruel demand meant to break her spirit.
Kumud’s heart sinks as she realizes the trap tightening around her. Sunanda’s words echo: “If you don’t dance, your husband will be lost to you forever.” Tears spill down Kumud’s cheeks, but she knows she must hold on to hope. Saras, on the other hand, is consumed by frustration and worry. “What do I do now?” he confides to Majnu. “If I go back, Kumud’s life is at risk. If I don’t… I lose her forever.” Majnu tries to comfort him. “Stay hopeful. We’ll find a way.”
At dawn, Vidyachatur paces anxiously, worried that Saras is unreachable. Danny has left Kusum behind, and confusion fills the house. Guniyal suggests they visit the temple for some peace, and Vidyachatur agrees, asking Badimaa to accompany them. Badimaa declines, choosing to stay behind to wait for news from Kumud and Saras. The family leaves with heavy hearts.
In the quiet, Badimaa dials Saras’ number. When he answers, she breathes a sigh of relief. “Are you okay?” she asks. Saras reassures her he’s fine and shares what he’s learned about Kumud’s whereabouts. Badimaa’s worry deepens as she hears the danger Kumud faces. She insists they come with the police to rescue Kumud safely, but Saras shakes his head. “She came here searching for Ghuman,” he says quietly. “If Danny finds out she danced, it could ruin everything. We have to be careful.” He asks about Danny, but Badimaa stays silent, fearing the news would only add to Saras’ burden. Instead, she tells him Danny is fine and urges him to stay strong and keep in touch. After the call ends, Majnu asks Saras what he’s planning next. Saras reveals an idea: they could have come as guests if only they hadn’t been spotted. It’s risky, but it might be their best chance.
Inside, dancer Kusum hands Kumud a set of clothes, urging her to get ready. Kumud looks down, her heart heavy. She doesn’t want to wear the outfit, but the cruel demands leave her little choice. A single tear escapes as she stands, preparing to face the cruel world waiting for her.
Sunanda greets the guests with feigned warmth, announcing a “new girl” in their midst. She sends Kajal to fetch Kumud. When Kumud enters, veiled and adorned with ghunghat, the room bursts into applause. Saras appears beside Majnu, dressed in Sheikh’s clothes, his eyes locked on Kumud. Without hesitation, Kumud begins to sing a soft bhajan: “Man mohana… Kanha suno na…” The melody fills the room, catching everyone off guard.
Sunanda’s face tightens with anger. “Why is she singing a bhajan?” she demands. “Didn’t you teach her anything? Our guests aren’t here for this.” Her glare shifts to Saras, who simply claps in appreciation. The guests join in, the sound echoing through the room. Kumud bows with dignity, her spirit shining despite the circumstances.
Lalit praises Kumud’s courage. Jugnu grumbles, “I said I was arranging the money—couldn’t you have waited just one day?” Sunanda dismisses him, noting that Kumud’s value only rises with each passing moment. She leans toward Saras, teasing that it seems the new girl has truly captured his heart. Saras signals Majnu to speak. Majnu confirms that Kumud has indeed won his heart, but notes the sadness in her eyes — she’s here against her will. Sunanda scoffs, suggesting perhaps this fate is hers to bear. Majnu warns that Kumud won’t remain here long, her heart guiding her elsewhere. Saras watches Sunanda carefully, a quiet storm brewing in his eyes.
As the scene fades, the tension between love, danger, and revenge simmers, setting the stage for what’s to come.
