The episode opens with Kumud trying to reunite the two brothers by asking them to perform the aarti together. She hands them the aarti plate, and everyone watches in silence. Both Saras and Danny look visibly hurt, but they go ahead and do the aarti side by side. Kumud offers a silent prayer of thanks to the Goddess, hoping this small step will help mend their bond. Ghuman watches the moment closely, her expression unreadable. Afterward, Badi Maa and Saras perform the aarti together, while Kumud looks on with tears in her eyes. She silently promises herself that she will bring Saras’s happiness back to him, no matter what it takes. Saras, overwhelmed, apologizes to Kumud and walks away. Badi Maa gently encourages Kumud to stay strong and mentions that this phase of separation is like a Vanvas—a time of trial. She tells her not to lose hope. Kumud’s family eventually takes their leave.
Back in her room, Kumud is surprised when Saras pulls her aside and demands to know why she did all this. Was it just to hurt him, or did she really want him to come for the aarti? Despite his frustration, he tends to her wounded hand, carefully bandaging it and reminding her to apply ointment twice a day. Kumud calmly says that wounds must be treated, or they fester and grow worse. Saras, still emotional, tells her that Danny’s trust has shattered, and so has his. They must accept this bitter truth. He then leaves, heavy with emotion.
Later, in the kitchen, Danny comes across Saras. Both brothers silently recall their previous tense exchange. Neither speaks, but the pain in their eyes says it all. Saras wonders to himself why Danny now hates him so deeply. Kumud watches them quietly, realizing that forcing the matter now will only widen the rift. She decides to give them time and space. Meanwhile, Saras calls Mr. Tripathi late at night and apologizes for the hour. He informs Tripathi that he needs to prepare some important documents and thanks him for his help.
The next morning, Kumud asks Kusum about Saras. Kusum tells her that he left early for the construction site and hadn’t eaten anything. When Kumud asks about Danny, Kusum says he didn’t eat either. She adds that Danny still loves his brother deeply—he was staring at Saras’s photo all night. Kumud asks how they will ever bring the brothers together again. Kusum doesn’t have an answer, but Kumud remains hopeful. She invites her to do the aarti together and prays for a way to clear the misunderstandings. She suspects that Ghuman has poisoned Danny’s mind and worries that Kabir may be helping her.
At the site, Saras is busy reviewing blueprints and asking for the design updates. Kumud arrives and gently asks how his hand is. He responds briefly, saying it’s fine, then tells the workers to focus and take a break soon. The site supervisor quietly tells Kumud that Saras hasn’t had anything to eat or drink all day. She urges Saras to eat, but he refuses. She firmly tells him that if he won’t eat, neither will she. Music plays in the background as he finally gives in, reluctantly picking up the tiffin and eating. Kumud smiles softly, pleased to see him take care of himself. She apologizes for forcing him, but he doesn’t object. Just then, Saras gets a call and steps aside. Kumud overhears him mentioning Tripathi’s name and becomes curious about why he avoids such calls around her.
Saras tells Tripathi that he’ll be there within thirty minutes. Meanwhile, Kabir approaches and asks Saras to review a presentation. Saras agrees. Kabir then offers Kumud a lift, but she declines, choosing to head home on her own. On her way back, she notices Kabir’s car parked nearby. Seeing that the door is slightly ajar, she thinks he must have forgotten to lock it and decides to check. As she examines the car, Kabir walks toward it, unaware of what she’s doing.
