The episode begins with Kumud imagining a difficult moment where she tells Saras about Kabir and Ghuman, and Saras, in turn, refuses to believe her. In her thoughts, he becomes angry and dismisses her concerns, insisting he trusts Kabir and has no reason to doubt him. Snapping out of her imagination, Saras notices her troubled face and asks what’s wrong. Kumud brushes it off, saying she was just thinking about Kaka. She excuses herself to freshen up.
Later, when she returns, Saras is still immersed in work. She urges him to get some sleep, but he tells her he’s overwhelmed with Danny’s responsibilities and doesn’t want to disturb him tonight. Understanding, Kumud brings him a cup of coffee and sits down to help with the work. Eventually, Saras dozes off. Kumud quietly continues working, watching him sleep with a gentle smile on her face.
When Saras wakes up an hour later, he sees that she has finished a lot of the work. He’s touched and reminds her of Badimaa’s words, thanking her for always standing by him. The next morning, Saras wakes with a start, panicked by how late it is. But to his surprise, everything is already done. Smiling in relief, he praises Kumud for being so efficient. He pulls out a cherished pen—one gifted to him by Laxminandan, which he used to sign his first contract. Saras decides to pass it on to Danny for signing his first major deal, feeling proud of the gesture.
Meanwhile, Danny is struggling with guilt for hiding the truth from Saras. Ghuman, however, is unfazed and encourages Danny to perform well, wishing him luck by comparing his capabilities to Laxminandan’s. Danny meets Saras, who compliments him and asks about Kumud. Danny says she might have gone out with Kusum. Saras brings up the big investor meeting and the presentation, but Danny hesitates. He tells Saras he won’t be able to attend because he has another important commitment. Saras is stunned and tries to remind Danny that this is their father’s project and he’s leading it. Danny insists he can’t skip his other engagement.
Trying to stay calm, Saras agrees, but the disappointment is evident in his voice. He tells Danny that Kumud stayed up all night working on this, making Danny feel even worse. As he walks away, Danny confides in Kabir that he’s riddled with guilt and doesn’t know how much longer he can keep this secret from Saras.
Saras begins suspecting that Danny is hiding something. He visits the Desai house, unaware that Danny and Kabir are there too—they quickly hide upon seeing him. Saras enters the house and is puzzled to find no one around. Kalika tells him that everyone went to see his father and that Kumud isn’t there either. Saras, confused and concerned, notes that Kumud hasn’t informed him of her whereabouts and her phone is switched off. He declines Kalika’s offer for tea and asks for water instead. As he walks around, he hears a phone ringing and wonders whose it is, suspecting it might be Kabir’s.
Kabir suddenly appears and quickly grabs the phone, which turns out to be a call from Ghuman. Saras, slightly embarrassed, says he didn’t mean to intrude—he only entered the room because he heard the phone ringing and was looking for Kumud. Kabir calmly tells him it’s fine. Saras explains that he has no idea where Kumud is and he’s growing worried. Kabir offers to come with him to look for her, asking for a minute to get ready. Once Saras leaves the room, Kabir smirks and mutters to himself that he just needs a little more time before he fulfills his promise to Ghuman.
Meanwhile, Kumud is determined to uncover the truth about Kabir. She goes to a hotel and makes inquiries about him. Inside Kabir’s room, she searches thoroughly and eventually finds a stash of painting supplies hidden under the bed. Her suspicion deepens as she realizes Kabir might be hiding something big.
At the same time, Danny attends the meeting and confidently presents his work. The client praises him, saying they’re happy to collaborate. Danny checks the samples and declares them perfect. After the meeting, he feels accomplished and thinks Saras will finally be proud of him for handling such a major responsibility alone.

Saras angrily confronts Kumud and demands to know where she went. She responds that she was out looking for something. He presses her further, asking exactly what she was trying to find.
