Saras And Kumud On Starlife Thursday 24th July 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with everyone enjoying tea together. Danny greets the group warmly, and Yash’s mother joins in, happily mentioning how Kusum taught her some yoga poses that helped relieve her back pain. Danny comments to Kabir that nobody truly recognizes Kusum’s talents. When Kusum asks what he said, Kabir clarifies that he was praising her. Meanwhile, Vidyachatur asks Kumud where the tea is, and she replies it’s in the room, explaining that Saras is making it himself and managing everything on his own. She then leaves the group. Saras is at the well, drawing water and filling pots. He wonders where Kumud is as he waits with buckets. Frustrated at having to pretend to wash clothes, he calls out to her. When Kumud arrives to do the laundry, Saras is surprised to see her and hastens his work. She notices him piling on too much detergent and laughs. She offers to take over, but Saras insists on doing it himself, wanting to be independent and not accept favors. Kumud teases him about finishing the detergent too quickly. As Saras continues, he accidentally ruins his white shirt by mixing red clothes with it. Kumud scolds him, but when he falls, she rushes to help and ends up falling onto him. As he brushes her hair aside and smiles at her, Saras jokes about all the benefits of washing clothes. Kumud playfully hits him and helps him up, slipping again and grabbing his arm. Saras invites her to come to Mumbai and wash clothes together, but she promises to teach him before they leave. Nearby, Guniyal and Yash’s mother notice the scene and suggest Kumud should go with Saras. Vidyachatur agrees, saying they may live far apart from the family but must stay together.

Laxminandan says they should convince Kumud, noting they can plan their future there. Kusum asks Guniyal to talk to Kumud, and Guniyal agrees. Kumud tells her she can’t leave Ratnagiri even if Saras is right, but Guniyal reminds her a wife must support her husband. Yash’s mother urges Kumud to agree, saying Saras is doing this for the family business. Kumud quietly walks away. Later, Kumud catches Saras in the room, his face covered, and accuses him of being a thief. He reveals it’s him dusting and teasing her for suspecting him. Saras complains of back pain, and Kumud helps him sit, applying balm despite his protests. He admits the pain is worse now but smiles at her touch. When she tells him to slow down, he jokes about all his “drama” and declares he’ll go to Mumbai alone. Kumud talks to Laxminandan, and Danny brings juice made by Kusum, which she smiles at before leaving. Danny confides his concern about Kusum’s feelings, and Laxminandan says he feels bad for hurting her. Danny hopes Kusum will be happy if she goes with Saras.
Kumud sees Kusum giving medicine to Vidyachatur and also brings some herself. Kusum reassures her that Vidyachatur will get his medicine daily. During dinner, Kumud feels ignored; no one calls her to serve food. Saras coughs and asks Kusum for water, and she praises the brinjal dish. Kumud wonders who made it, but no one answers. Kusum serves dal to Saras, who thanks her and says the food will finally digest well. Everyone smiles. Kumud asks Kusum to pass a dish, but Kusum ignores her. Everyone else also ignores Kumud. Kusum praises her mother, making Danny sad thinking of his own mom. Kabir tries to cheer him up. Saras jokes with Kabir about Danny’s love for Guniyal’s cooking, and everyone laughs. Later, Danny returns to his room and is surprised to find “Sorry” written in flowers and candles all around, with a big card as well. Kusum admits she said some things earlier, but Danny tells her he isn’t upset; in fact, her kind words about her mother made him happy. He smiles and says it’s good when people come closer to say sorry. Kusum smiles and hugs him.
Meanwhile, Laxminandan and the others discuss how to convince Kumud. Kumud overhears and accuses them of trying to send her away with Saras. Guniyal asks her to think about Saras. Kumud insists she won’t go to Mumbai. Saras overhears and says there’s no need to explain anymore. He reveals he has booked his ticket and will leave alone if Kumud refuses to come. Everyone is stunned, and Vidyachatur is upset. Saras says he must go and will leave in three days. Kumud angrily says he didn’t ask them before booking and tells him to go alone, then storms off. Guniyal tells Saras there’s nothing he can do now, and he leaves.
Yash’s mother remarks that Saras ended the issue by taking matters into his own hands. The family decides to let Saras and Kumud handle the situation themselves. Danny observes that they really can’t live without each other. Kabir says he has work and leaves. Laxminandan says they have a new problem to solve—Kabir’s marriage. Guniyal says she knows the family involved and thinks Kabir will like the bride. They all laugh.

Saras, feeling very sleepy, calls out to Kumud to open the door, getting frustrated when she doesn’t respond and even turns off the light. Saras is left outside, annoyed.
