Danny walks in and finds Ghuman quietly crying. Concerned, he asks her what’s wrong. She brushes it off, claiming something just got into her eye. But Danny notices a pair of ghungroos lying nearby and immediately questions where they came from. Ghuman quickly takes them and puts them away in the cupboard. Danny doesn’t let it go—he keeps pressing her for an answer. Ghuman eventually tells him Kusum gave them to her, saying they represented her identity. Danny is stunned. Ghuman recalls how Kusum handed over the ghungroos and suggested she start dancing again. Ghuman says she had endured enough in the past, with people questioning her worth because of her background as a dancer, and now Kusum had brought all that back. Danny, visibly upset, hugs her and tells her that’s enough—she doesn’t need to deal with this anymore.
Fuming, Danny storms off to confront Kusum. Ghuman pleads with him not to say anything, but he’s too angry to listen. He yells for Kusum. When she appears, startled, he demands to know if she gave the ghungroos to his mother. Kusum admits it. He then asks if she told Ghuman it was her identity. Again, Kusum says yes, but she’s confused by his reaction. Ghuman tries to calm Danny down, but he refuses to back off. He accuses Kusum of deliberately insulting his mother, but Kusum says he’s misunderstanding her intentions—she only meant to encourage Ghuman to do something that once made her happy. However, she remembers Ghuman’s manipulative words and stops short of explaining further.
Kusum tries to defend herself, but Danny is convinced she acted out of spite. He says she dragged up painful memories just to take revenge. Saras and Kumud arrive home and are taken aback by the escalating argument. Ghuman once again tries to stop Danny, but he angrily tells Kusum she doesn’t even deserve to speak his mother’s name. Saras intervenes and scolds Danny, but Danny snaps back, saying Saras doesn’t know what Kusum did. Danny tells Kusum he’s fought with Ghuman for her before, and now he’s ready to fight with her for Ghuman’s sake. Saras asks what happened, but Danny refuses to explain and walks away. Kusum, in tears, leaves too.
After the dust settles, Ghuman turns to Kumud and smugly says she tried to calm Danny down, but he just couldn’t forgive Kusum this time. She challenges Kumud again, questioning if she still believes in Kusum and Danny’s love. Kumud, seeing through her game, accuses Ghuman of manipulating the situation. Ghuman grins and says that anger will soon turn to hatred. She knows Kumud will do everything to protect Kusum, but she warns her: the battle has just begun.
Saras and Kumud go to comfort Kusum. Saras asks what really happened, and Kusum explains she only wanted to encourage Ghuman to dance if it made her happy. She never intended to insult her, but Danny misunderstood everything. Saras is frustrated that Danny didn’t give her a chance to explain. He says Danny can’t keep acting like this. Kumud calms him down, saying that right now, Danny is hurt because he thinks his wife disrespected his mother. She asks Saras to give him time and to bring him back home without pushing him. Saras agrees.
Kumud then comforts Kusum, who is heartbroken. Kusum wonders aloud if she’ll always be punished for past mistakes—if Danny will ever truly trust her again. Kumud reassures her, saying that each time his doubts are proven wrong, his faith in her will only grow stronger. Kumud promises that she won’t let anyone come between them.
Meanwhile, Ghuman calls Danny, pretending to care, and reminds him that Kusum is still his wife. Danny hangs up without saying much, and Ghuman smirks. She vows to deepen the wounds before they can heal and make sure Kusum doesn’t get another chance.
Just then, Ghuman receives a gift at the door. It’s from Kabir. He calls her and flirts, asking if she liked his present—a mirror. As she looks at her reflection, he comments that it’s nice to see her smiling. She glances around nervously, suspecting he might be watching her. She warns him that Danny would be furious if he found out about them. Kabir, laughing, says she won’t tell Danny—because if she was going to, she already would have.
Back outside, Saras is trying to calm Danny down. Danny tells him he doesn’t even want to see Kusum’s face. Saras tries to reason with him, saying they should go home and give the situation space. Danny says he needs peace—something he can’t find at home. Saras gently insists, and Danny eventually agrees. At home, Kumud and Kusum wait anxiously. When Saras brings Danny inside, Kusum rushes to him, but he walks right past her and heads to the bedroom. She follows him, only to watch him grab a pillow and blanket to sleep on the sofa. Kusum quietly cries. Ghuman shows up and tells her to give Danny some space—that his mood will improve in the morning. Saras looks at Ghuman, suspicious of her intent. Danny settles onto the sofa and closes his eyes.
Later, Kumud sits in her room, troubled by Ghuman’s manipulations. Saras enters and apologizes. She asks why, and he says he brought her into this house with the promise of happiness, yet all he’s brought her is stress. He suggests they stop talking about the drama for now and focus on their own bond. Kumud agrees, but says their lives are now deeply connected. She adds that they can’t be truly happy if Danny and Kusum are in pain. Saras says he feels the same. Kumud reminds him that they need to stay united to get through this. Saras thinks back to how she supported him in his darkest moments—and now, it’s his turn to support her.
