Back at home, Badimaa enters Kumud’s room, missing her deeply. She reflects on how Kumud has always succeeded in every challenge, but this time, her entire family’s wellbeing is on the line. As she’s lost in thought, a sudden gust of wind blows open the windows, and a glass frame falls and shatters, alarming her. Vidyachatur rushes in and asks what happened. Badimaa shares her fear that something bad might happen to Saras and Kumud. Vidyachatur tries to calm her, reminding her that good things happen to good people and assures her that they are not alone—everyone is standing with the children. She urges him to pray that nothing goes wrong.
The next morning, Saras wakes up to see Kumud packing a few items. She gently tells him she needs to go and writes him a note before placing it beside him. Saras asks if it’s really necessary. Kumud replies that her friend is getting married, and today is her mehendi ceremony—an event only for women. In truth, she’s lying to investigate the truth, but she doesn’t let it show. Saras, trusting her, says he wouldn’t have stopped her if it weren’t important. Kumud silently promises to return by evening. She walks away, then stops and smiles as she looks back at him. As she turns to leave, her saree gets caught, and for a moment, it feels like Saras is holding her back. He comes over, gently takes her hand, and they share a tender, emotional moment before she finally walks out. As she leaves, the background music “Piya Re…” plays softly, capturing the emotion in the air.
Shortly after, Saras gets a call from Guniyal, who’s worried about Kumud. She asks where she is and whether everything is alright. Saras tells her she’s fine, and she went for her friend’s mehendi ceremony, promising to return in the evening. Guniyal seems suspicious and asks who the friend is and whether she went alone. Saras admits that Kumud didn’t share the details. Guniyal asks him to have Kumud call her as soon as possible. Saras wonders why she’s so concerned. Meanwhile, Kumud arrives at her destination. The driver warns her that good women don’t usually visit that place, but Kumud insists she must go. In her heart, she prays to Ambe Maa to give her strength to uncover the truth and protect her family from evil.
Elsewhere, Danny meets Kabir, who brings up the tension between Danny and Saras. He blames himself, saying the fight happened because of him and feels guilty for betraying the family’s trust. Danny, however, tells him not to take the blame and adds that once Navratri is over, he plans to start a business on his own. Kabir questions this decision, reminding Danny that his father has a massive business empire in Dubai. He suggests that instead of starting from scratch, Danny should support his father and return to Dubai. He says careers are in our hands—even if everything else is left to fate.
Saras, at the work site, is preoccupied with thoughts of Kumud. He wonders why she hasn’t messaged or called him. He instructs one of his workers to arrange food, trying to distract himself. Meanwhile, Kumud reaches Sundarnagar. The driver again advises her to be cautious. As she walks in, a couple of men nearby notice her and begin to follow her with suspicious smiles. At home, Danny returns and Kusum immediately asks where he’s been all morning. Danny makes a phone call, asking for tickets to Dubai after Navratri. Kusum assumes Ghuman is going back, but Danny explains that with his father unwell and Saras withdrawn, it’s now his responsibility to look after the business. He wants them to move to Dubai. Kusum is surprised and says everything they love is here. Danny counters, saying his father built everything over there and had Ghuman by his side through it all. Kusum insists that their home and family are here, but Danny believes their lives will change for the better in Dubai. He says things have already changed and there’s nothing left for him here. Kusum, though hurt, says she’ll stand by him in whatever he decides—but urges him not to rush.
Back at the site, Saras continues to wait, upset that Kumud still hasn’t called or messaged. Kusum brings him tea and gently tells him that both he and Kumud miss each other deeply. She says his fight with Danny is affecting not only him, but Kumud as well. She explains that Kumud left to bring him and Danny closer—not to hurt him. This is her test, these nine days of separation. And what is she getting in return? Just Saras’s anger and coldness. Meanwhile, Kumud questions people about the ghungroos she’s been tracking. Suddenly, the men who were watching her follow her and stop her, making her feel tense and uncomfortable.
