Kusum sits alone, tears rolling down her cheeks as she thinks about Kumud. The pain in her heart is clear, and Danny quietly walks in and sees her crying. Without saying a word, he gently holds her, trying to give her some comfort. Elsewhere, Sunanda is on a call with Ghuman, mocking her with a sly smile. Ghuman responds, saying Kumud’s husband and family are searching everywhere for her. But Sunanda confidently says they’ll never find her and tells Ghuman to forget she ever had a daughter-in-law. Menka overhears this and grows suspicious. Meanwhile, Ghuman, determined to distance herself from the situation, tells Kusum to stop thinking of Kumud as her sister.

Saras reaches Sundarnagar and starts asking around about Kumud. He stops by a shop and describes her to the shopkeeper, saying she had ghungroos in her hands. Suddenly, a thief sneaks up and steals Saras’s wallet, which holds Kumud’s photo. Saras takes off after him, desperate to get it back. Just as he’s about to catch up, a man unintentionally gets in his way, and the thief escapes. Frustrated and angry, Saras scolds the man, explaining that the wallet had a photo of his missing wife. Hearing this, the man softens. He tells Saras he recognizes the girl—he had seen her being chased by goons and had helped her. Saras listens carefully as the man says Kumud had mentioned looking for Ghuman and went to Chandni Bazaar to find someone named Roopmati. Saras is overwhelmed with gratitude. The man, who is revealed to be the same kind transgender person who once helped Kumud, introduces himself as Majnu. He promises Saras that they’ll find Kumud together, saying true love like theirs always finds a way.
Back in Chandni Bazaar, Jugnu shows up at Sunanda’s place with some money. He begs her to let Kumud go, saying he’s truly in love with her. Sunanda is amused and questions whether he’s really willing to ruin himself over a girl. Jugnu doesn’t back down. He says he doesn’t care what happens to him—he just can’t watch Kumud suffer. But Sunanda coldly tells him that what he brought is only enough for today. Tomorrow is another matter. Jugnu is stunned by her greed and deception.
Meanwhile, Saras and Majnu continue their search. They pass through a narrow lane when Saras suddenly spots the same thief who stole his wallet. Without thinking twice, he walks up and demands the photo back. The thief mocks him, saying he won’t return it. Saras offers him money, hoping to resolve things peacefully, but the thief refuses. He even jokes that he’ll keep the photo close to his heart. That’s the last straw—Saras punches him, knocking him to the ground, and grabs his wallet back, finally holding Kumud’s photo again.
At home, Danny returns after trying to gather information from the police but doesn’t get any updates. Kusum asks about Saras, clearly worried. Danny tries calling him, but Saras’s phone is out of reach. Danny, now anxious, suggests they go to Kusum’s parents’ house. Ghuman watches him and feels irritated, realizing that Danny still cares for Saras despite everything she’s tried to do to drive them apart.
Back at Sunanda’s place, someone brings Kumud a new dance costume. The dancer Kusum delivers it and tells her to wear it. Kumud looks at the dress with disgust and refuses, saying she’d rather die than wear something like that. Kusum sits beside her and gently shares that she too once felt the same. She tells Kumud that the only way to escape is to pretend to give in. If she acts like she’s broken, they’ll stop watching her so closely, and she’ll have a chance to run. Kumud, though hesitant, agrees to wear the dress but firmly says she will never dance. Kusum nods and steps aside just as Sunanda enters, smiling as she lays eyes on Kumud dressed up.
