The episode begins with Danny lashing out at Saras, overwhelmed with anger and pain. He tells Kusum to pack their bags, clearly intending to leave the house. Saras stands there, stunned and heartbroken. When Danny storms off, Kumud urges Saras to stop him, pleading with him to explain that Danny has no right to walk away like this. But Saras, holding back tears, says Danny called him his stepbrother. That one word has shattered him. He reflects bitterly on how Danny, who grew up in his arms, could now distance himself so coldly. Kumud gently comforts Saras as he laments how quickly their happiness slipped away.
Meanwhile, Kusum tries reasoning with Danny. She reminds him of all that Saras has done—not as a duty, but out of love, even more than a real brother would. She can’t understand how Danny can disregard that bond. Kumud also tries to reason with him, insisting that Saras is his own flesh and blood and deserves forgiveness. But Danny, still hurt, responds with frustration, saying he’s tired of forgiving Saras over and over again. He feels like no one truly understands his pain. Saras, hearing this, says if Danny sees their relationship as fake, then so be it—let him leave.
Kumud turns to Saras, trying to open his eyes to the kind of man he truly is—one who loves deeply and never walks away from those he cares about. She reminds him of what he endured at Pramad’s house just to protect her. How could he now let his brother walk out like this? Kusum joins in, pleading with Kumud to stop Danny. Moments later, Danny appears downstairs with his bags packed, ready to go. Ghuman steps in, feigning concern, telling him this isn’t right. Kumud begs Saras to say something. Finally, Saras gathers himself and stops Danny.
Saras, trying to mend the rift, explains the situation to Danny. He folds his hands and apologizes, saying there’s been a misunderstanding. He recounts how he went to track down the man responsible, only to get a call from Kumud telling him that Kabir had caught the culprit and had Danny released. He says he doesn’t understand how the man got from the jungle to the police station so quickly. Kumud echoes his confusion—how did Kabir manage it?
Still, Danny turns to leave. Saras, desperate, says if anyone needs to go, it should be him and Kumud. Ghuman is visibly stunned. Saras tells Kumud to pack her things—they’re leaving. He offers an apology to Kusum and heads to his room. Kusum tries talking sense into Danny again. Kumud, devastated, confides in Kusum that she can’t walk away from Saras—not after all they’ve been through. She recalls the promise she made when she first wore his mother’s anklet—that she would never let the family fall apart. If she fails now, she says, she won’t be able to face anyone. Saras, hearing this, says then he’ll leave alone. Kumud silently prays to the goddess to save their home and their family.
Just then, Badimaa and Guniyal enter. Saras tells them he must go, but Badimaa firmly stops him. She announces that no one will leave the house. With Navratri beginning the next day, she insists that for the next nine days, everyone must stay together under one roof. Ghuman throws a jab at Kumud, saying she always believed Saras and Danny were inseparable, but now they can’t even stand to be in the same room. Badimaa, however, defends them, saying there’s love hidden in even their fights. She hands Kumud the idol of the goddess and asks her to place it in the puja room. As everyone prays, Kumud takes it as a sign that the goddess doesn’t want the brothers to be torn apart. She silently vows to reunite Saras and Danny within those nine days. Ghuman watches with a cold smirk, thinking there’s no way this gap can be bridged now.
Later, Badimaa explains how Navratri is a time for peace, joy, and new beginnings. She asks Kumud what’s troubling her, and Kumud opens up about everything. Badimaa consoles her, giving her hope that things can still turn around.
That night, Saras sits lost in thought, haunted by Danny and Kumud’s words. Kumud approaches him and asks him to come with her. He says he wants to be alone. She tells him she won’t let him isolate himself. He retorts that she already has—by not standing with him. She defends herself, asking how she could have supported him leaving the house. He pulls away in frustration. Kumud reminds him that she married him not just out of love but with the responsibility of keeping the family whole. Saras bitterly says his family is already broken. The two people he loves most have shattered his heart. Kumud, holding back tears, asks what he would’ve done in her place. He replies that if her sister had done this to him, he would’ve understood if Kumud chose her. She promises the distance between them will fade. Saras lies down in silence. Kumud rests beside him, hoping to reconnect.
The tension remains the next morning. Kumud pleads with Saras to give her nine days—just nine days for everything to become right. Saras dismisses her, saying nothing will improve and he’s leaving after the ninth day. Kumud, holding on to hope, asks him to at least come for the aarti. He refuses, saying he won’t. She reminds him that he goes to the temple every day. Saras responds that it was only because his mother did—and now he feels even his faith is slipping. The people he loved—his mother, Danny, and now Kumud—are being taken from him. He turns away and closes his eyes. Kumud, quietly determined, thinks to herself, “You’ll come to the aarti. I know you will.”

Ghuman speaks to Kabir, saying their plan is perfect. Kabir agrees that it’s the ideal day for it. Meanwhile, Kumud asks Kusum where Ghuman is. Kusum replies that she left early in the morning and hasn’t returned.
