Saras And Kumud On Starlife Wednesday 9th July 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode opens with Menka revealing shocking truths to Saras and Kumud. She begins by telling them about Ghuman’s past, when she was known as Roopmati and danced at Chandni Bazaar. Ghuman had cleverly positioned herself, knowing wealthy businessmen would come to see her perform. One day, Laxminandan’s friend dragged him to one of Ghuman’s shows, and though Ghuman danced solely for him, he didn’t even glance her way. That rejection wounded her pride deeply. From that moment, she set her sights on becoming his wife. She started visiting his office and the places he frequented, only to find that he was deeply in love with his wife Saraswati, who was also expecting a baby. Jealousy consumed Ghuman. Menka goes on to explain that Ghuman’s hatred grew so strong, she devised a cruel plan. When Saraswati gave birth, Ghuman stole the newborn and handed him to a midwife named Daima with instructions to kill him. But Menka stepped in and took the baby from Daima, saving his life. The twisted plot worked. Laxminandan believed Saraswati had been careless and caused the baby’s death. Saraswati herself began to believe it too, and their relationship started to fall apart. Ghuman then pretended to support Laxminandan, all while planting poison in his heart. Eventually, Saraswati discovered the affair between Ghuman and her husband—and the betrayal pushed her to end her life. Saras breaks down hearing this.

Menka says that when Kabir learned the truth—when she told him everything—he came back to take revenge on Ghuman for his mother’s death. That’s why he is taking her to the UK. Menka begs Saras to save Kabir. Saras tells her that nothing will happen to Kabir and admits they only lied to her so they could get the truth. But now they have to act quickly—he doesn’t want Kabir’s hands stained with Ghuman’s blood. He tries calling Kabir but finds his phone unreachable. Menka says they must be boarding the flight. Saras angrily questions how she could raise Kabir only to let him become a pawn in her revenge against her own sister. He throws her passport back at her and leaves with Kumud. After they go, Menka smiles wickedly, declaring that she’s waited her whole life for this moment. Ghuman had crushed her beneath her heel for years—now it’s Menka’s turn. She says Kabir cannot be stopped anymore; he will kill Ghuman. Meanwhile, Badimaa is lost in thought about Saraswati’s baby. Vidyachatur and Guniyal enter the kitchen and smell gas. Concerned, they open the windows and see the gas stove was left on. When they ask Badimaa what happened, she seems distant and distracted. She apologizes and admits her mind was somewhere else. Guniyal suspects something is bothering her and gently urges her to speak. Vidyachatur adds that they’re always there for her. At first, Badimaa denies it, saying she was only thinking about Saraswati, but Guniyal takes her to the house temple and urges her not to lie in front of God.
Finally, Badimaa confesses the horrifying truth: that Ghuman switched Saraswati’s healthy baby with a dead one, blaming her for the tragedy. Guniyal and Vidyachatur are stunned. Guniyal asks why Menka took the child, and Badimaa replies that they still don’t know—nor whether the boy is alive. She adds that Saras and Kumud have gone to confront Menka to uncover the full story.
Meanwhile, Ghuman thinks about Kabir and smirks, saying she’ll return the favor he gave her, but double. Saras and Kumud rush to the airport, hoping to stop him. They learn the flight has already taken off. Just then, Saras spots Ghuman leaving and blocks her car in anger. He confronts her furiously, telling her she deserves death. Ghuman smugly asks if he intends to kill her. Saras replies that he almost could. Ghuman tries to pull the “I’m your mother” card, but Saras shuts her down, saying Danny would never forgive her if he knew what she had done.
He demands to know the truth about his brother. Ghuman pretends ignorance, but Saras lays it out—she failed to win Laxminandan’s love and in her jealousy, she took away his baby, framed Saraswati, and pushed her to suicide. Ghuman finally admits the truth—yes, Kabir is alive, and yes, he is Saras’s brother. She says she found out before Saras did and that Menka betrayed her. She heard Menka talking to Kabir on the phone and planning to have her killed—on his birthday, no less. She chuckles, savoring the chaos.
