Kumud gently tells Kusum that Ghuman hasn’t truly accepted her from the heart. But Kusum quickly comes to Ghuman’s defense. She insists that Ghuman’s behavior is shaped by the situation, not her intentions. She believes that deep down, Ghuman has accepted her—she can feel it. Kumud tries to explain her concerns, but Kusum refuses to listen. Meanwhile, Ghuman lovingly packs lunch for Danny and urges him to eat before heading to the hospital. Kusum watches her with a hopeful smile. Saras notices Kumud isn’t eating and asks what’s wrong. Kumud simply says she’ll eat later. Danny tells Saras to go ahead and that he’ll catch up. But before Saras leaves, Danny gives him a tight hug. Saras immediately senses something is off and asks if everything’s alright. Danny brushes it off, saying there’s no issue. Saras reminds him he would do anything for him and asks again if something’s bothering him. Danny, just having received a message from Kabir, assures him it’s nothing and says they’ll have lunch together later. Saras agrees and heads off to the factory.
Danny later arrives at a meeting. A fabric supplier shows him some samples, which Danny inspects thoroughly—pulling threads and even burning them to test quality. He approves of the fabric and asks about the price. The supplier quotes a figure, but Danny smartly negotiates a better deal. The man agrees, impressed with Danny’s keen eye and business sense, especially for someone so young. Danny thanks him and leaves, confident and composed.
Back at home, Kusum tells Vidyachatur that she’s heading to her father’s house. She politely informs both Ghuman and Kumud before leaving. But Kumud stops her and turns to confront Ghuman. Her tone sharpens as she accuses Ghuman of trying to break Danny and Kusum’s marriage. She exposes her scheme—how Ghuman sent Kalika dressed as Kusum to make Danny believe Kusum went to meet Saras at the construction site. Kumud calls it a selfish and cruel act, especially for a mother. Ghuman doesn’t deny it. She loses her temper and admits everything.
Yes, she says, she did it. And she’ll do it again until she gets her son back. Ghuman declares that Danny is her blood, and she refuses to let him waste his life in a village. She coldly tells Kumud that neither she nor Kusum will ever matter to Danny the way she does. With a fierce glare, she challenges Kumud—if she really believes in Kusum’s love, then fight for it, but do it alone. Let’s see if she has the strength.
Kumud walks into her room, disturbed and shaken by Ghuman’s open challenge. She knows this isn’t just about a personal grudge anymore—Danny and Kusum’s happiness is on the line. Saras comes in and sees how exhausted she looks. He gently tells her to sit down and rest, then apologizes for not giving her enough time lately. Kumud brushes it off with love, reminding him that their relationship has always thrived even from a distance. Saras smiles and says she deserves more now that they’re married. He promises to make more time for her. To make it up to her, he plans a surprise outing and asks her to get ready. Kumud tries to tell him something important, but he’s in a playful mood and doesn’t let her speak. He insists she get ready, and leaves with a smile.
Meanwhile, Ghuman goes to meet Kabir. They talk casually, and Kabir congratulates her on Danny’s successful business meeting. Ghuman, however, is not pleased. She says her real plan hasn’t worked yet—Danny is falling more in love with Kusum, and Kumud keeps interfering. Kabir listens carefully and then suggests separating Kumud from the equation. Ghuman raises an eyebrow and asks if he’s capable of doing that. He smiles and says yes, flirting with her. She smirks and accuses him of flirting. He cheekily replies that he’s just admiring her beauty. Ghuman grins, fully aware she’s using him.
At that moment, Kumud gets a call from the school principal. There’s an urgent opportunity—a handicrafts exhibition has been arranged for the school kids, and they need to leave for the picnic immediately. The parents and children are excited, so Kumud agrees to come along. She tells Saras about the sudden plan, and he’s visibly disappointed. Kusum quickly assures her that she’ll take care of everything at home. Ghuman sweetly offers to help Kusum too. Kumud tries to talk to Saras again, but he brushes her off, clearly hurt. Before she can explain, the bus driver rings the bell, urging her to hurry. Saras sarcastically calls her “teacher” and mutters that he wishes he were one of her students. Kusum hears this and giggles. Ghuman, watching from the side, praises Kabir’s idea. She’s thrilled to see it working so smoothly.
Later, Ghuman asks Kusum to cut some fruit for her. Kusum tells her to rest and says she’ll bring it to her room. As she’s preparing to leave, Ghuman asks when Kumud will return. Kusum says she isn’t sure. Ghuman then reminisces about one of Danny’s childhood picnics—how Laxminandan had surprised her and Danny by showing up unexpectedly. Kusum is surprised to hear this and says she didn’t know he was such a romantic. Meanwhile, she sees Saras still sulking in the living room. She brings him a cup of tea and offers him a suggestion that’s inspired by Ghuman’s story—why not surprise Kumud by following her in the car and taking her out on a date? Saras hesitates, concerned about the children being there, but Kusum encourages him, saying it would be a sweet gesture. Eventually, Saras agrees and heads out to surprise Kumud. Kusum smiles proudly, happy that she was able to lift his mood.
