The episode opens with Anushka frantically searching for her project file. She mutters to herself, “I kept it here… where did it go?” Badimaa glances at Kabir and reminds him that both the file and Anushka’s ID card were here. She asks Kabir to check under the pillows again. Kabir lifts them but comes up empty-handed. Vidyachatur reassures Anushka to go on time, promising they’ll find the file and send it by courier. Anushka hesitates, worried about her ID card, because she can’t enter the airport without it. Badimaa smiles knowingly and says it seems Kanha ji has arranged things so that now she can’t go—almost as if someone prayed for her. Kusum gently asks Anushka to stay a little longer, and Anushka agrees, deciding to postpone her departure.

Meanwhile, Badimaa notices Kabir smiling to himself. Kumud walks into the gate, and Prashant’s face lights up. In his excitement, he bumps into her, causing her to slap him and exclaim, “How dare you do that!” She immediately recognizes him. Anushka calls her father, worried about the missing file. Kusum comforts her, promising to talk and help her feel better. Kabir secretly retrieves the file from under the pillow and hides it in his t-shirt. Badimaa sees this and smiles quietly. Prashant apologizes for bumping Kumud, explaining that he had fainted due to a longstanding condition and needed his medicine. Kumud softens, understanding that he didn’t intend harm, and he insists it’s just a disease he has been managing for years.
Saras arrives and greets Prashant. He politely excuses himself, smiling at Kumud. Saras informs Kumud about the electricity bill, and she promises to take care of it tomorrow. Badimaa notices Kabir again and asks if he hid Anushka’s file. He denies it, but she teases him, pointing out that she saw him sneakily hide it and wonders why. Kabir admits he had tried to make Anushka leave but now feels conflicted seeing her about to go. Badimaa gently teases him, saying it’s affection, but he stubbornly insists he doesn’t love Anushka. She counters that love can make the impossible possible, hinting that he does love her. He firmly denies it, yet there’s a flicker of uncertainty in his eyes.
Back at home, Kumud asks Saras to call Badimaa. Meanwhile, Prashant discreetly cuts the electricity wire in their flat. Saras asks Kumud to fetch candles, lamenting that everyone else has power except them. He tries to contact someone to fix it, but no one is available tonight. Kusum shares shocking news with Anushka: Danny cannot be trusted. Anushka is stunned and struggles to believe it, recalling that she always thought he seemed decent. Kusum tearfully recounts everything she witnessed, and Anushka urges her not to break down, promising they will handle it carefully and protect Kiran from Danny’s influence. Danny arrives home, noticing Kusum wiping her tears.
Prashant arrives and informs them that the society called about the power outage. Saras mentions that he had just made a call, but Prashant reassures them he will send an electrician and insists they come to his home, given the heat. Kumud politely refuses, but he persists. Danny questions Kusum about her crying, and Anushka smiles, saying she’s happy to stay and not leave today. Danny receives a call and assures them he will come, while Kusum warns it might be from the “witch,” but Anushka advises him to stay careful and not doubt anyone.
At Prashant’s house, he greets Kumud warmly and keeps a dupatta in the cupboard. He offers them tea and shows them around, with Kumud admiring his home and Saras impressed by his kindness. Prashant subtly hides the dupatta while keeping up a polite front. While bringing tea, he accidentally hurts his hand. Kumud quickly brings a first aid box and treats him with Saras’s help. Prashant grumbles but thanks them and encourages everyone to get some rest.
Kabir sits alone, thinking about Badimaa’s words suggesting he loves Anushka. He struggles internally, insisting he doesn’t believe in love, yet questions why he cared so much when she was about to leave. Lost in thought, Anushka notices him talking to himself and smiles, teasing him for acting strange. Kabir, distracted and unsettled, can only watch her leave, still holding the file and ID card.
