Saras And Kumud Wednesday 21st May 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Kusum lighting candles in her room, dressed in a gown and waiting eagerly for Danny. She smiles as she hears a car pull up, believing it’s him. Meanwhile, Ghuman waits patiently for her plan to succeed. Saras and Danny return home, and Saras receives a message confirming that the clients liked Danny’s presentation. Feeling happy, Saras says he’ll ask Kumud to make Gulab Jamun to celebrate.
Ghuman pretends to feel unwell and apologizes to Danny. She asks him to bring her some medicine, and Danny obliges. Saras calls out for Kumud, and Ghuman slyly says Kumud might be in Kusum’s room. Saras walks toward the room, and Kusum, thinking it’s Danny, smiles at the sound of his footsteps.
Inside the room, Kusum hugs Saras and says, “I love you, Danny.” Just then, Danny arrives and sees her hugging Saras. He’s shocked and hurt. Kusum realizes it’s Saras, not Danny, and pulls back. She sees Danny standing there, devastated. Danny walks away without saying a word, ignoring Kusum’s pleas. Kusum is shattered and breaks down in tears, blaming herself once again for hurting him. Saras tries to stop Danny, but Danny insists he’s fine and walks away.
Ghuman smiles to herself, feeling victorious. Kusum tries calling Danny, begging him to talk to her, but Danny is in tears, convinced that Kusum still loves Saras. He recalls Ghuman’s manipulative words and throws his phone in frustration. He ignores calls from both Kusum and Saras. Kumud texts Saras to say she has gone to her parents’ house and will return soon. Saras wonders whether to tell Kumud about the situation, worrying it will upset everyone. He continues trying to reach Danny.
Later, Danny returns home but still refuses to speak to Kusum. She pleads with him to listen, explaining that the decorations and food were for him. She says she wanted to surprise him and that she truly loves him. Danny yells at her not to touch him and accuses her of still being in love with Saras. He says she’s been fooling him all along and staying in the house under false pretenses.
Kusum tries to defend herself, but Danny refuses to believe her. He says his mother warned him to open his eyes, and now he sees the truth. Kumud arrives and sees the argument. Kusum insists that she came back only for Danny. In his rage, Danny pushes her. Saras catches her and is shocked at Danny’s behavior. Saras asks Danny what he’s doing—Kusum is his wife. Danny replies, “Is she my wife or your Uttaran (leftover)?” Kumud and Saras are stunned.
Saras slaps Danny in anger. Ghuman watches from a distance, furious. Saras tells Danny not to speak that way about Kusum. Kusum sobs. Danny storms off. Saras runs after him, but Danny doesn’t stop. Ghuman thinks to herself that this rift will never heal now.
Danny tells Kabir he’s ready to make a name for himself independently. He says the new project is only his, and he’ll prove himself at any cost. Meanwhile, Saras explains everything to Kumud. She’s shocked to hear what Danny said and questions if Danny really meant it. Saras says yes—Danny’s actions reflect his beliefs. Kumud says she’s hurt for Kusum but insists Danny can’t truly believe such things. Saras says he doesn’t understand why Danny is overreacting to something so small.
He recounts how Danny seemed distracted during the conference and wasn’t even happy about their success. Saras explains how he found Kusum waiting in the decorated room and how she hugged him thinking he was Danny. That’s when Danny walked in. Saras says Danny should’ve simply asked what was going on instead of reacting this way and running off.
Kumud connects the dots and asks if Ghuman was the one who told Saras she was in Kusum’s room. Saras confirms it. Kumud immediately realizes Ghuman is behind everything.
Later, Kumud confronts Ghuman. She accuses her of manipulating Danny and poisoning his mind. Kumud says she knows Ghuman lied to Saras and intentionally sent her to her parents’ home to create this misunderstanding. She says Ghuman went as far as to bring Kusum back only to ruin her life. Kumud accuses her of hurting Danny deeply, despite knowing how much he loves Kusum. Ghuman, smug and unapologetic, says nothing.

Kumud pleads with Ghuman not to take away Danny’s happiness—Saras and Kusum are his entire life. Ghuman taunts her. Kumud says she may not have defeated Ghuman today, but love will win in the end.
