The episode begins with Roshni lying awake in the middle of the night, her stomach growling with hunger. Though she no longer feels interested in these rituals, she forces herself to follow them under pressure. Seeing her discomfort, Tejas sits by her side and gently massages her shoulders to calm her. Just then, Renuka enters the room and immediately scolds them for daring to break the strict rules. Meanwhile, in another corner of the house, Riya craves some midnight fast food, but Renuka harshly reminds her that non-vegetarian food is strictly forbidden inside their home. Sayali tries to offer a solution, suggesting that she can prepare something at home, but Renuka shuts her down at once. Instead, Renuka orders Sayali to make food for Roshni.

Sachin intervenes and reminds everyone that the priest had already instructed Sayali not to cook for Roshni, who must prepare her own meals as part of the ritual. Tejas pleads with Renuka to show some leniency and let things go just this once, but Renuka stands firm, unwilling to bend the rules. Left with no choice, Roshni heads to the kitchen and reluctantly cooks for herself, following her mother-in-law’s orders.
The next day, Renuka once again finds a way to test her. When she sees Sayali preparing rangoli, she immediately stops her and orders Roshni to make one at the main gate instead. Roshni, having no experience in such tasks, struggles with the work. But Renuka doesn’t offer any support, watching coldly as she fumbles. Determined to obey, Roshni smears the floor with cow dung before beginning the rangoli. Tejas notices her difficulty and quietly steps in to help, while Sayali watches with pity in her eyes. From a distance, Sachin mocks their efforts before driving away with a smug smile.
The next morning, Sayali serves Aakash and Riya hot aloo parathas for breakfast. Both of them happily praise her cooking skills, appreciating the love and care in her food. But Renuka refuses to give her any credit, turning a blind eye to her efforts. Riya, impressed with Sayali’s talent, suggests that she should consider opening a restaurant of her own. Though Sayali brightens at the thought, Renuka quickly dismisses the idea, declaring that women in their family should stay away from business. Sayali doesn’t protest and instead finds contentment in her flower-selling work.
As breakfast continues, Tejas and Roshni arrive at the table. Just as Roshni reaches out for food, Sachin taunts her, reminding her of the strict restrictions placed on her during this period. Renuka immediately snatches away her plate before she can eat, humiliating her in front of everyone. Roshni swallows her frustration and stays silent, but deep down, she feels suffocated in the Deshmukh household. Sachin continues to mock her until she can no longer tolerate it and storms off in anger, her silence carrying the weight of her pain.
