The episode begins with Renuka growing increasingly irritated as she questions Roshni about her father, who has still not shown up. Annoyed by his absence and suspicious of Roshni’s excuses, Renuka presses her for answers. Roshni, who has been keeping up the lie that her father lives in Dubai, hastily claims that he has landed at the airport. Renuka and Shakuntala are both taken aback by his lack of courtesy in not showing up directly. Deep down, Renuka is hopeful that Roshni’s father might share some of his wealth with his daughter and son-in-law, fueling her impatience even more. Feeling trapped, Roshni is pushed to call him immediately to confirm his arrival.

Struggling with the mounting pressure, Roshni turns to Shikha for help. They brainstorm how to shift the focus away from Roshni’s father, and their attention quickly lands on Sachin. Worried he might expose more than necessary or stir up trouble, Shikha arranges for a drunkard to manipulate Sachin into drinking. The idea is simple—if Sachin gets drunk and causes a scene, Renuka might forget about the mystery surrounding Roshni’s father. Meanwhile, Tejas is also growing curious about this elusive man and wants to know more.
Sachin, however, is unusually quiet, doing his best to avoid drama. Sayali notices his silence and teases him, but Sachin remains withdrawn. Meanwhile, Joy and Mamata, looking to escalate tensions, have also sent men to provoke Sachin into drinking. On another front, Mamata walks into Riya’s room and insists that she dress in ornate Bengali jewelry and attire. Riya resists, saying the traditional Bengali bridal look feels too heavy and uncomfortable. At the same time, Renuka is preparing a traditional Marathi saree for Riya’s wedding, unaware of Mamata’s plans.
Sachin senses a storm brewing between the two mothers. Sure enough, Renuka and Mamata clash bitterly over Riya’s wedding attire. Both have brought sarees that reflect their respective cultures and are adamant that Riya wear their choice. Riya, stuck in the middle, feels helpless as the argument intensifies. Neither woman backs down, and Sachin watches with amusement, eager to see who wins the cultural tug-of-war. Sayali, however, stops him from getting involved, warning him that adding fuel to the fire might ruin the ceremony. Still amused, Sachin confides in his father, Paresh, about the drama unfolding.
Eventually, Renuka and Mamata leave the room after their heated exchange, leaving everyone curious about who prevailed. A few moments later, Riya steps out dressed in full Bengali bridal attire, signaling that Mamata has emerged victorious in the showdown.
