Sachin sweetly brings something for Sayali and urges her to have it. She notices everyone watching and feels awkward. Sachin lightens the mood by making fun of Renu and Tejas, which makes Sayali pull him aside to avoid further attention. Meanwhile, Renu tells Roshni to ignore them and continues to mock and insult them.
The next morning, Paresh questions whether Tejas has found a job yet. Renu quickly defends him, saying he’s still looking and will surely find one soon. She then shifts the blame to Sachin, complaining about him again. With bitterness, she mentions wanting to send Sachin and Sayali away. Paresh suggests moving to the village, but Renu instantly refuses, saying she won’t live with Aaji.
Suddenly, Mamta arrives with a band, several women, and plenty of gifts. She greets Riya and Akash and tells everyone that she informed Renu of her visit and has brought shagun. Renu plays along, claiming she knew. Mamta explains she brought 11 plates instead of 21 because of the limited space in the house. Sachin cracks a joke again, making things a bit lighter. Mamta adorns Riya with a necklace that catches everyone’s attention, especially Renu, who is visibly impressed.
Renu asks if the necklace came from Dubai. Mamta pretends not to remember, and Riya suggests it’s from a famous shop but doesn’t recall the name. She turns to Roshni, expecting her to know, but Roshni brushes it off, saying there are many stores, and the name must be on the box. Renu gushes over the diamonds, and Mamta agrees casually. Then Renu orders Sayali to bring tea for everyone. Paresh acknowledges Mamta’s efforts for her daughter but asks why Joy didn’t come along. Mamta covers it up, saying he had urgent work. Paresh gets upset, saying Joy never visits and clearly doesn’t respect them, but Renu asks him to let it go.
Just then, Shubha enters with a warm smile and gifts in hand. Renu’s face hardens as she questions her presence. Shubha explains that she came because it was an auspicious time and brought gifts for Poornima. Sayali happily hugs her, and Sachin looks pleased. Despite her irritation, Renu reluctantly accepts the shagun plate. Shubha hands clothes to Sachin and Sayali, and Paresh gently reminds everyone that Shubha is Sayali’s mother, just like Mamta is Akash’s mother-in-law. Shubha politely greets Mamta, but Mamta snubs her coldly.
Riya notices a box Shubha brought and asks about it. Shubha replies it contains Sayali’s favorite sweets, and Riya excitedly asks to try some. She tastes it and loves it. Shubha then offers the sweets to Sayali and Sachin as well. Paresh asks Shubha to sit, but Mamta suddenly decides to leave, saying she has urgent work. Renu tries to be polite, inviting her to visit again, but Mamta just makes a face and leaves. Akash offers to drop Riya, and they leave together.
Renu, unable to hold back, starts scolding Shubha again. Paresh intervenes, telling Renu to stop insulting her. Renu accuses Sayali of calling Shubha without permission, but Shubha clarifies that she came on her own. Sayali finally speaks up, asking why her mother is being humiliated. She points out that Renu is only doing this because Shubha didn’t bring expensive gifts like Mamta. Shubha tries to calm Sayali, but Sayali continues, saying their financial status shouldn’t lead to such disrespect.
Seeing things escalate, Shubha decides to leave. Sachin comforts her and tells her not to worry about Renu’s words. Tejas jumps in, backing Renu, and compares the gifts, saying Mamta brought 11 plates while Shubha brought just one. Sayali hits back, saying at least her mother brought something—unlike Tejas, who hasn’t even received a bowl from his in-laws. Sachin supports Sayali and jokingly asks Roshni to request her father to send one bowl from Dubai. Renu fumes in silence as the tension grows.
