The episode begins with Sayali taking Riya aside to talk. She gently tells Riya that while she looks lovely in her chosen clothes and it’s fine to wear such outfits while out with Akash and friends, things are different at home. Since they live in a joint family, they should be mindful of others. She reminds Riya that Paresh is older, and they must show him respect. Riya replies that she always speaks respectfully to him, but Sayali explains that respect isn’t only in words—it also comes through actions. Riya argues that people should be free to dress how they like, just as they eat what they like. Sayali calmly says Paresh won’t say anything, but they should still think of his dignity. Though slightly upset, Riya agrees to change her outfit for Sayali’s sake.
Sayali thanks her warmly. Watching this, Roshni comments that Riya gave in to Sayali’s words, and Renu wonders what special influence Sayali has. Riya comes back wearing a long nightie and calls out to Sayali, asking if it’s fine. Sayali compliments her, saying it looks nice. Renu agrees, and even Paresh smiles. Sayali cracks a joke, making Renu annoyed.
The next morning, Sayali is seen going through classified ads. Sachin asks what she’s looking for. She says she’s searching for a job in wedding decoration. He praises her for staying strong and says he’s happy she’s trying to support him. She replies that he can’t handle everything alone and she wants to help. He lovingly kisses her forehead and says Aaji was right—she’s the true goddess of the house. He admires her pure heart and determination and believes she’ll achieve great things.
A song plays in the background. Later, Renu gives Sayali some laundry to wash and asks her to mop the floor too. Roshni joins in and hands over Tejas’ shirts. Sayali questions why she should do Tejas’ work. Renu scolds her and insists it’s her duty. Sayali firmly refuses, asking Renu to understand her side. Riya enters and notices the pile of clothes. She asks Renu why she can’t help Sayali. Renu dismisses her, saying Sayali is at home and has enough time to rest. Riya argues that managing housework is not easy and asks why Roshni doesn’t help. Roshni replies that she runs a salon and gets tired too.
Riya defends Sayali, saying she works all day and still gets no appreciation, unlike them who earn money and recognition. She says Sayali is amazing for doing everything without expecting anything in return. Riya offers to help if she knew how. Sayali says it’s fine. Riya insists on valuing her efforts and walks off. Roshni mocks Sayali, but Riya comes back with some cash. Sayali asks what it’s for, and Riya says it’s for her—to show appreciation for all the hard work she does at home. She adds that a maid would’ve charged a lot, and Sayali deserves at least this much.
Sayali feels hurt and emotional, saying she does the work because this family is her own, and by offering money, it feels like she’s being treated like a servant. Riya gently explains that she sees Sayali as her sister and wants to give her money for her personal needs, just like Roshni gives pocket money to Renu. Sayali gets emotional, while Renu and Roshni mock her.
