The episode begins with Sachin getting ready to leave. He says goodbye to Tejas, who finds it unusual but responds with a casual farewell. Renu urges Sachin to go, and he agrees, though he keeps checking with everyone before leaving. Just as he’s about to go, Roshni enters and greets the family. Sachin returns momentarily to greet her and again asks if he should leave, prompting Paresh to respond in frustration, telling him to just go. Sachin insists that since it’s family, he’s just being polite. Roshni gives him permission, and once again Renu tells him to leave. As Roshni tells Tejas to have breakfast, Renu assigns her a task—to change the cushion covers.
Suddenly, Sachin runs back complaining of stomach pain. Renu and Sayali rush to him, concerned. He says he urgently needs the washroom and bolts into it, pushing Renu aside. Renu suspects he’s up to something and mutters that he’s probably creating trouble.

Later, Renu anxiously waits, saying “they” would arrive soon. Paresh questions her, and she reveals that Akash and Riya are coming over. Paresh is shocked and upset, reminding her that Riya’s parents should be the ones to drop her off. Renu calmly says that they are coming too. Soon, Akash, Riya, and Mamta arrive. The sight of them triggers painful memories for Paresh, and he glares at Akash. Akash greets Tejas, but Paresh remains cold. Akash is emotional seeing Paresh. Meanwhile, Renu slyly locks the washroom door where Sachin is. She instructs Roshni to get the aarti plate and tells Sayali to perform the aarti. As Sayali prepares, she notices Paresh’s tension.
Sayali performs the aarti, followed by Renu. Riya nervously asks Sayali how she looks, saying she isn’t confident wearing a saree. Sayali gives a neutral response. Renu then probes Sayali, but she insists nothing is wrong. In the washroom, Sachin realizes he’s locked in and suspects Renu’s motives, thinking she’s scheming to bring Riya into the house and that’s why she wanted him gone. Renu urges Paresh to call Mamta inside, saying it looks improper for her to wait outside. Paresh reluctantly welcomes her. Akash falls at Paresh’s feet and apologizes, and Renu invites Riya to take blessings, which Paresh gives, though still distant.
Suddenly, knocking sounds are heard. Paresh asks about the noise. Renu brushes it off, claiming it might be from the neighbors. But it’s Sachin, locked inside, shouting for Sayali. She rushes and opens the door. Sachin bursts out, demanding to know who locked him in. Sayali says maybe it happened by mistake. Furious, he accuses Renu and storms out, only to find Akash, Riya, and Mamta in the living room.
Anger boils over as Sachin confronts them. Sayali tries to calm him, but he’s too livid. He calls out Renu for tricking him and locking him up just to get Akash into the house. He warns Akash to leave immediately. Sayali begs him to calm down and swears she knew nothing about Renu’s plan. Sachin doesn’t believe her at first, but she insists she promised to never hide anything from him. Mamta intervenes, saying Riya has every right to be here. Sachin firmly tells her to stay out of their family matters and lashes out at Akash for trying to ruin Sayali’s life again. He says he won’t let Sayali suffer anymore, and Sayali, touched by his support, smiles.
Sachin then demands to know where Joy is and tells Mamta to bring him out. Paresh tries to calm him, saying it’s not worth the trouble, but Sachin refuses to back down, asserting he isn’t as forgiving. Renu scolds him for creating a scene. Paresh again pleads for peace. Mamta explains that she came only to drop Riya off and doesn’t want further drama. Sayali clarifies that everything is fine in their house, and both daughters-in-law are happy.
Mamta questions their family environment, but Sayali reminds her that the man she tried to get Riya married to was a terrible person. She explains how she had informed Mamta about that incident, yet Mamta delayed taking action. She criticizes Joy for not even showing up and scolds Mamta for having the nerve to question their family. Sayali’s words leave Mamta speechless.
