The episode starts with Sachin watching Sayali as she makes a Rangoli. He compliments her on how beautiful it looks. They share a sweet moment together. Sayali tells him not to mess up her design. Sachin offers to help, saying he won’t ruin it. Soft music plays in the background. He insists he can fill in the colors, but Sayali refuses. As they argue gently, their hands touch. Just then, Akash and Riya arrive. Sachin accidentally bumps into Akash. Riya looks annoyed at what just happened. Paresh also comes and watches the scene.
Paresh tells Sachin to come with him for a chat. Sachin asks if he is alright. Paresh replies that he is fine and says he just wants to talk about keeping peace in the family. Sachin agrees to listen, and Paresh gives him a hug. Meanwhile, Riya, Roshni, and Sayali continue decorating the house and chatting with each other. Renu arrives and praises Riya and Roshni for their efforts. When Sayali is mentioned, Renu makes a rude remark, but Paresh stands up for her. Renu insists that only her real daughter-in-law should do the puja.

Sayali is busy in the kitchen making food and explaining the sweet dishes to Riya. Renu comes in and insults her again. Riya sees what’s happening and tells Renu she was only talking to Sayali, so there’s no need to get upset. Renu pretends she was only telling Sayali to hurry up. Riya suggests they all work together. She picks up the sweets and tells Akash to help Sayali too. But Renu interrupts, saying Sayali should make them alone since she’s only good at such chores. Sayali agrees and says she’ll do it herself.
Sachin jokes about all the “great people” being around, asking why Sayali is the one doing everything. Sayali then talks about how her family used to celebrate festivals back home. Renu mocks her again, calling her poor, and says that her other two daughters-in-law are from rich families. She adds that Riya will eventually distance herself from Sayali on her own.
Riya asks Roshni about her past. Roshni shares that her life in Mumbai was tough and that she worked very hard to grow her business. Riya says she understands, adding that even small things like choosing her dress and going to the parlor gave her stress during Diwali. Paresh says everyone is amazed to hear about Roshni’s struggles and recalls how Akash and Sachin used to eat sweets during childhood and skip meals. This reminds Sachin of a childhood memory with Akash.
Sayali tells everyone that Renu had asked her to make rava laddoos, and she’s already made them. She also says she can prepare besan laddoos if needed. Suddenly, Sachin stands up. Sayali asks if something is wrong. Sachin replies that he’s just going to check if Aaji has called him. He walks away. Sayali wonders what’s bothering Sachin.
