The episode begins with Renu asking Mamta to give Riya anything she wants. Mamta gives a shagun to Riya and Akash. Renu takes it and tells them to take Mamta’s blessings. Mamta blesses them. Paresh says it feels more like dowry than love. Mamta disagrees, saying all parents save jewellery for their daughters. She adds that Roshni, their eldest daughter-in-law, must have received a lot since she’s from Dubai. Renu lies, saying Roshni had a simple wedding because her father couldn’t come from Dubai, but he’s very rich and plans to bring 250 tolas of gold soon. Roshni gets tense. Mamta then asks about Sayali.
Renu replies that Sayali didn’t bring anything from her house, and they had to buy jewellery for her. She says they would’ve been fine if Paresh had retired a day earlier. She adds that Sayali’s father died by jumping in front of a train on Paresh’s retirement day, which is why Sayali came into their house. Paresh tells her to stop talking nonsense. Renu says she’s just telling the truth—that Sayali’s family didn’t even gift earrings, only brought flowers and rotten fruits. Sayali feels hurt and starts crying. Paresh tells Renu to stop, but she continues to humiliate Sayali and says Paresh only brought her home out of guilt. She keeps blaming Sayali’s father for dying in front of Paresh’s train.

Sayali goes to her room, locks the door, and cries. Later, Renu finds Sayali in the temple and scolds her for not helping with housework. Sayali asks what she should do and says she’s always treated like a servant. Renu shouts at her, and Sayali finally speaks up, saying Renu always insults her and she’s tired of it. Riya asks why Renu is shouting. Renu brushes it off and tells Sayali to cook. Sayali agrees sarcastically and says she does everything but still gets insulted. Renu and Sayali argue. Sayali says just because she stays quiet doesn’t mean people can treat her badly.
Roshni and Tejas arrive. Roshni scolds Sayali, but Sayali tells her to stay out of it. Paresh comes, and Sayali explains that Renu insulted her and dragged her father into things. She says her only fault is being poor, and that’s why everyone looks down on her. Renu accuses Sayali of acting, and Paresh defends her. Renu claims she was just answering Mamta’s question. Paresh says she used the wrong words. Akash and Riya also say that Renu shouldn’t have spoken like that.
Sayali challenges Renu to tell everyone the truth about her engagement and how she entered the house. Renu taunts her again, and Sayali storms off to her room. Renu shouts that Sayali ran away and is pretending to be a queen. Paresh reminds Renu that he told her to treat all daughters-in-law equally. Renu says she still loves Riya and Roshni more and claims Sayali is trying to create problems.
Sayali returns and gives Renu all the jewellery. She says if this jewellery is the issue, then she doesn’t want any of it—not even the mangalsutra. Sachin enters and watches everything. He asks Sayali what happened. Paresh tries to convince her to keep the jewellery, but Sayali refuses, saying she doesn’t want to be insulted for not bringing jewellery from her parents’ house. She tells them about Renu’s words in front of Mamta. Sachin asks Paresh why Renu can’t change, but Paresh says she doesn’t want to. Sachin tells Renu that Sayali never took money from her; the jewellery came from Dad and Aaji. He asks Sayali to ignore Renu and keep the jewellery, but she still refuses, saying Renu will insult her again.
Renu brings up the mangalsutra too, and Sayali says she was expecting that. She returns it as well, saying she doesn’t even want that. Sachin is shocked by her decision.
UPCOMING
Roshni gives money to Renu. Renu again insults Sayali. Sachin finds Sayali crying and asks what’s wrong. Sayali says she doesn’t earn money and doesn’t get respect, then asks if she can start earning now.
