To get the photo enlarged, Sachin visits his friend Shiva’s photo studio. While working on the image, Shiva spots Renuka’s face in the picture and recalls a piece of security footage. He pulls up the CCTV clip to show Sachin—a video from the day Renuka was mugged. At the time, the thief’s face had been concealed by a helmet, and no one could identify him. But in this footage, the helmet slips, revealing the culprit—Dilip. Sachin is stunned. The man who attacked Renuka, who’s been walking around as if nothing happened, is none other than Sayali’s own brother. Shiva confirms Dilip’s ties with Chitti and other unlawful activities. Sachin, shaken by the revelation, immediately tells Shiva to delete the video. Although he erases the evidence, the damage is done. The truth gnaws at Sachin, and he can’t shake the betrayal.
Still in shock, Sachin goes to Shobha’s house, hoping to speak to her. But once there, he’s overwhelmed by conflicting thoughts and cannot bring himself to share what he’s discovered. Shobha is puzzled by his sudden, unannounced visit and tries to ask what’s going on, but Sachin abruptly leaves without an explanation, leaving her unsettled.
Not long after, Sachin encounters Dilip and Chitti again—this time, they’re viciously attacking one of his close friends. The sight sends a wave of fury through Sachin. Without a second thought, he steps in and fights back, raining down blows on both of them. Even though Dilip is Sayali’s brother, Sachin can’t let that cloud his judgment. He beats him not out of vengeance, but out of righteous anger for everything he’s seen—Renuka’s attack, the deception, and now this violence. Dilip is caught off guard, trying to understand why Sachin is being so aggressive, but Sachin refuses to listen and walks away, seething.
Later, Dilip ends up at the hospital with serious injuries. His mother and Sayali rush to see him, visibly shaken and anxious. Seeing her brother in pain, Sayali is distressed. Shobha demands to know what happened, but Dilip lies, claiming he was hurt in an accident. Neither Sayali nor Shobha suspects the truth—that Sachin was the one who beat him, and for a very real reason.
