The episode begins with Riya questioning why Sachin is lying. Akash wonders if Sayali might have told him something, and Tejas directly confronts Sachin, trying to get to the truth. But Sachin deflects and keeps up the lie, which only adds to the tension. Roshni steps in and scolds Sachin for shouting at Tejas, and then she blames both Sachin and Sayali for not telling the family earlier about their problem, saying that Renu had to suffer the embarrassment because of their silence. Renu jumps into the conversation, taking the opportunity to belittle Sachin and Sayali’s financial status. She accuses them of hiding their mistakes and even hints that they might be involved in something illegal. Everyone is stunned by her words. Sayali defends herself, asking how Renu can make such baseless accusations.

Shubha is visibly upset, but Renu keeps going. She shifts her anger towards Juhi, saying Juhi was trying to trap Akash, and that Akash is lucky to have found someone like Riya instead. Sayali tries to explain that Juhi and Akash are just friends, and anyone can ask Akash himself. Shubha tries to calm things down, but Sachin asks Paresh to stop Renu and tries to take Shubha away to avoid further drama. However, Renu won’t let it go. She accuses Shubha and Juhi of managing the store while the rest of the family was away and claims they are now lying to cover things up. Sayali has had enough and tells her to stop. But Renu crosses the line, saying Shubha has stooped too low just to earn some money and even accuses her of teaching her son to steal, bringing up an old incident involving Sachin’s bike. Shubha breaks down in tears and begs Renu to stop. Overwhelmed, she faints in Sayali’s arms.
Sayali holds Shubha while Paresh calls for water. Renu mocks the fainting as just another act, but Paresh sternly tells her to leave. Sayali gives Shubha water and helps her sit up. Sachin rushes to check on her, and she nods, trying to assure everyone she’s fine. Later, at the chawl, Sayali tells Shubha to rest. Sachin says he’ll wait outside and tells Sayali to stay with her mother, but Sayali insists on going with him. Shubha takes the moment to advise Sayali not to argue with Renu and to wait until her anger cools down. She makes Sayali promise not to escalate things. Sayali, however, says she’s fulfilling all her responsibilities as a daughter-in-law, so Renu should fulfill her duties as a mother-in-law. Shubha urges her to stay calm, saying that women have to endure a lot. But Sayali strongly disagrees and tells Juhi to never accept what’s wrong. Shubha scolds her for saying that, but Juhi agrees with Sayali, saying they need to stand up for themselves. Shubha says she only wants Juhi to be happy with Sachin, and Sayali quietly leaves the room.
When they return home, Sachin is lost in thought. He looks at the mangalsutra he bought and reflects on how happy he was when he purchased it. Sayali notices his mood and asks if he’s upset. Sachin admits that he is, but not with her—he’s angry with himself. He regrets not being there when she needed him the most. He says she kept calling him, trying to tell him about Chandu, but he was too busy with work to listen. He confesses that while he’s always tried to be a good son and brother, he’s failed as a husband. Sayali gently tells him not to blame himself. She admits that she was hurt when he didn’t listen, but she knows he cares deeply and is worried. Sachin says he can’t forgive Chandu and will make him pay, but Sayali calms him down, saying the police will handle it. She tries to get him to eat, but he refuses and walks away.
Sayali notices the mangalsutra and asks what it’s for. Sachin returns and tells her he doesn’t feel worthy of giving it to her. She sees it and becomes emotional. She tells him that he worked so hard, day and night, just to buy this for her. He says it doesn’t matter now, since he couldn’t protect her. Sayali holds his hand and reminds him that he married her without even knowing her well. Despite that, he always stood by her and respected the marriage. She says he’s a good husband—actually, the best one. Sachin smiles and asks if she likes the mangalsutra. She nods and says it’s beautiful. He asks her to wear it, but she smiles mischievously and says she has a plan. When he asks what plan, she teases him, saying she won’t tell him yet. He playfully agrees to wait.
The next morning, Sayali heads to her stall as usual. But Renu stops her, saying she should shut it down and not open it again. Sayali firmly says she won’t stop running her store. Just then, Sachin arrives. Renu gets angry and says Sayali is insulting her by not listening. Sayali calmly responds that she’s not insulting anyone—she just won’t shut her store because of Chandu. Tejas joins in, supporting Renu, but Sachin steps in and tells Tejas to stay out of it. He defends Sayali, saying she’s done nothing wrong. Paresh arrives and wants to know what’s going on. Sachin explains that Renu is once again creating drama and trying to punish Sayali for something that isn’t her fault. Renu insists that she cares for all her daughters-in-law and wants to keep them safe. But Riya speaks up and makes a powerful point—if she didn’t quit her job after being attacked by Raghav, then why should Sayali be forced to stop working because of Chandu? Sayali adds that if women keep running from fear, then people like Raghav and Chandu will never stop. Renu says she won’t argue anymore but orders her to throw the flowers away and not set up her stall near the house. Sayali firmly says no—she won’t stop working. Sachin looks at her with pride, a small smile on his face.
