Tejas and Roshni head to their room, while Renu quickly tells Akash and Riya to go to theirs. Aaji points out that Renu seems to have already assigned the rooms, and Renu justifies it by saying the daughters-in-law are new and unfamiliar with the household. Sayali offers to make some tea. Aaji then calls Paresh aside to have a word with him. Meanwhile, Sachin tells Sayali that something about Roshni seems off. Sayali agrees, noting how tense Roshni looked. Sachin warns her not to say anything that might make Roshni want to leave.
Riya begins complaining about an odd smell. Akash explains that the floor has been freshly cleaned with cow dung, which is traditional in many villages. Disgusted, Riya protests, saying it’s making things worse and asks if they can get a room with an attached bathroom. Akash tells her there’s only one bathroom for everyone. She’s shocked, wondering how she’ll cope. Just then, Aaji walks in. Akash tries to reassure Riya that they’ll manage somehow. Riya insists she doesn’t mind staying, but sneezes and says she has a dust allergy. She pleads with Akash to let them stay in a hotel instead. Akash says it’s too far away. She looks unconvinced. Aaji gently explains the benefits of village life and encourages her to give it a chance.
Akash tries to comfort her, telling her she might grow to like it if she stays. Riya says they’ll see. Aaji announces that breakfast is ready. Riya grumbles that there’s no mobile signal, and Akash teases her lightly. Renu asks Sayali to bring tea, and Sayali complies.
Then Renu turns to Roshni, asking what her uncle would like to eat. Roshni suddenly looks anxious. Sayali is surprised and asks why she wouldn’t know his preferences. Renu quickly stops Sayali from probing further. Roshni vaguely replies that they can ask him when he arrives.
Renu insists they should be prepared and says they’ll make non-veg dishes, even hummus and tandoori items like in Dubai. Aaji scoffs at the extravagant menu, asking if he’s some kind of celebrity. Renu replies that Sayali is an expert and can make all of it. Aaji is unimpressed. Roshni tries to calm the situation by saying they can decide once he arrives. Renu remains determined to make a good impression. Riya again complains about the lack of phone signal. Renu tells her to go outside to check and asks Roshni to accompany her. She also orders Sayali to collect the used tea cups before they all leave.
Left behind, Aaji comments on how Renu is letting her daughters-in-law walk all over her. Meanwhile, Sachin is watching videos, and Sayali calls him, curious to know what he’s doing. He claims he’s watching dance videos with Anya but changes it to agriculture videos when asked again. She tells him about her food stall plans, but he brushes it off, saying they’ll talk later. She tells him not to forget lunch, and he agrees. After the call, Sachin tells Anya he wants to dig into the truth about Roshni’s Dubai uncle—if it’s real, Renu will be dancing in joy. Anya laughs at the thought.
Later, Aaji calls for Renu, who’s excitedly admiring the fresh vegetables and planning to get all the dishes made before Roshni’s uncle arrives. She calls Sayali to help and taunts her along the way. Aaji intervenes, reminding Renu that everyone should live in harmony and not say things that could hurt others. Renu denies ever hurting anyone and hands Sayali a long list of dishes to prepare. Aaji questions her about treating Sayali like a hotel chef. Renu says Sayali cooks well and is simply doing her job as a daughter-in-law. Aaji sharply reminds her that she, too, is a daughter-in-law and should do her part.
Renu protests, wondering how she’ll manage everything alone. Aaji tells her to call in her two other daughters-in-law for help. Renu hesitates, saying they come from well-off families and aren’t like Sayali. Aaji doesn’t care. She says this is her house, and everyone will be treated equally. She tells Renu to call Riya and Roshni. When the two women arrive and ask what’s going on, Aaji declares that Renu will cook today, and they will assist her. Akash and Tejas watch quietly. Roshni quickly tries to pawn the task off on Sayali again, but Aaji reminds her that she had no trouble cooking during the competition. Surely she can cook for her own family.
Riya admits she doesn’t know how to cook beyond boiling water, though she’s a big foodie. Akash laughs and says she does love eating. Aaji tells Riya that if she enjoys eating, she should also learn to cook. Renu jumps in to defend her, saying she’s usually too tired from her dubbing work. Tejas says Roshni spends all day in the parlor, so she should be able to cook. Aaji agrees and instructs Malti to give some coconut and green chilies to Roshni for grinding. Riya is told to cut the vegetables. Renu complains that Sayali will now get to relax. But Aaji says Sayali is not lazy like the rest and will supervise how well the others perform.
Akash volunteers to help cook, but Aaji promptly smacks him on the head and pulls his ear, shooing him and Tejas away to explore the village instead. The two men quickly run off. Meanwhile, Renu is quietly stewing and thinking of ways to put Sayali in her place.
