Renuka becomes very angry with Sayali because Sachin misbehaved with Riya and Roshni, leading them to leave the house without having breakfast. To fix the situation, Renuka tells Sayali to prepare special food in the evening. She also instructs Sayali to go to the market and buy all the necessary ingredients. While Sayali is in the market, she runs into her mother. Shobha quickly notices that Sayali isn’t wearing the gold mangalsutra and starts feeling suspicious. Sayali tries to give excuses, but Shobha senses something is wrong and insists that Sayali come with her to her room.
Meanwhile, Akash plans to buy a car to make their lifestyle better and avoid any trouble with Riya. He goes to the showroom along with her.
Back home, Sayali finally shares everything with her family. They are deeply hurt to hear how Renuka treats Sayali badly. Sayali has already given up many things for their sake. Shobha knows that Renuka will never treat Sayali fairly. Shobha also wishes to buy a gold chain for her daughter, but Sayali refuses. She says she wants to earn her own money and doesn’t want to depend on anyone. She also mentions she needs to save for Juhi’s future wedding. Even though society talks against dowry, old traditions still exist. Sayali promises that her husband will buy her a new mangalsutra.
Sayali gets delayed returning home, which irritates Renuka even more. As soon as Sayali reaches the house, Renuka starts shouting at her. She questions whether Sayali bought all the ingredients and then orders her to cook many delicious dishes for everyone. After two hours, Renuka forces Sayali to wash all the clothes too.
When Sachin comes home, he finds Sayali still working in the kitchen, washing dishes. Seeing her struggles, he feels bad for her. After finishing all her tasks, Sayali comes to Sachin. Sachin asks why she has to handle everything alone and says others should also help her. He knows Sayali wants to earn respect by working, but warns her that the more she works, the more people will burden her. He scolds her gently and tells her not to overwork herself to the point of hurting her health. However, Sayali says she wants to help Sachin grow their business and promises to work hard for their future success.
