The episode begins with a tender moment between Sachin and Sayali as the romantic tune “Hum Tum…” plays softly in the background. Sayali stumbles a bit, and Sachin quickly helps her. Overwhelmed with emotion, she kisses him. Meanwhile, the family gathers for dinner. Renu sweetly urges Sultan to eat well and serves him lovingly. Noticing this, Sachin teases Sayali and points out how Renu is pampering Sultan. Sultan jokes about the food, and Roshni tries to brush it off as his usual humor. Sultan then prepares his own paan, much to the surprise of everyone watching.
Later, the conversation shifts, and Sachin pokes fun at Sayali’s dance. Sultan turns to Tejas to ask about his career. Sachin sarcastically answers that Tejas is still job-hunting. Renu immediately defends Tejas, claiming he has no one supporting him. This escalates into an argument, with Sachin continuing to mock Tejas. Renu, visibly upset, tells Sachin to shut up and asks Paresh to control him. Paresh also tells Sachin to stay out of it. Trying to make an impression, Tejas starts boasting about his abilities and asks Sultan for help in launching a business. Sensing Sachin’s mockery, Sultan reprimands him, causing Renu and Tejas to exchange a pleased look.
Tejas then hints that it would be a great help if Roshni’s wealthy father assisted in setting up his business. Sultan agrees and says Roshni, being the only child, would bring everything with her. Roshni grows uncomfortable. Renu questions when her father will come to visit, and Aaji adds that they’re all curious too.
Sultan, trying to spice up the story, speaks dramatically about Roshni’s father, portraying him as money-minded and inattentive to family. He even claims Roshni cut ties with him after her mother passed away and that her father has remarried. Roshni recalls Supriya and quietly excuses herself to take a call—from Supriya. She gets emotional and apologizes during the call.
When Roshni returns, she overhears Sultan’s exaggerated story and gently clarifies that her mother is still alive—she just feels her presence around. Renu tries to console her and promises to take care of her like a mother. Roshni apologizes for ruining the moment, but Renu reassures her they’re all with her.
To lighten the mood, Renu asks Tejas to go fetch some sugarcane. He brings it back and struggles to break it. Sachin steps in confidently, breaks it easily, and challenges Tejas to chew on it. Sultan joins in the joke, adding that you need strong teeth like his to chew even sheep bones. Roshni suggests Sultan should get some rest, but he insists he’s not sleepy. Sayali proposes showing him the village instead. Sachin supports the idea, and Sultan agrees to tag along, while Roshni looks on, visibly worried.
