Renu continues to mock Sachin, making him feel small and worthless. But Sayali defends him with quiet confidence, saying she believes Sachin will work hard and manage to buy the mangalsutra for her. Paresh stands by her, telling Renu that both he and Sayali have full faith in Sachin. Tired of Renu’s constant taunts, Sachin finally speaks up and scolds her. Renu tells him to stay hungry like everyone else since Sayali is busy working at the store. But Sayali steps in calmly and says she’s already prepared breakfast and asks if anyone needs anything else. Paresh praises her sense of responsibility, pointing out that she always completes her duties, unlike what Renu keeps accusing her of. He and Sachin sit down to eat and invite Renu as well.

Later, Sachin meets up with his group of friends. He tells them that he needs their help—whenever they get a long-distance ride they can’t take, he wants them to pass it on to him so he can earn extra money. One of them suggests he simply take some money from the chit fund instead. Anya agrees and says they can all repay it later. But Sachin firmly refuses. He doesn’t want charity or loans; he wants to earn the money on his own. Anya questions why he’s being so stubborn. Sachin explains the tension between Sayali and Renu and how important it is for him to buy the mangalsutra for Sayali himself. She’s done so much for him, and this is something he wants to do with his own hard work. He sits down looking helpless. His friends, moved by his sincerity, agree to help him however they can.
Meanwhile, Chandu is seen scolding his friend Bunty before heading over to buy garlands. He spots Sayali at her flower stall and stares at her inappropriately. When he approaches to buy a varmala, she tells him it’s not ready and suggests he try another store. He insists and even offers extra money, but she firmly refuses. Not giving up, he says he’ll buy something else from her stall. Sayali becomes visibly uncomfortable with his behavior but continues to stay calm. She wraps up the flowers and asks him to make the payment online. Chandu tells Bunty to pay, and he does. Before leaving, Chandu asks where the other store is, and Sayali points it out. He smirks and says they’ll meet again.
As they walk away, Chandu reveals his creepy interest in Sayali to Bunty. He secretly clicks her photo and declares that she now belongs to him. Sayali, disturbed by the encounter, calls Sachin, but he ignores the call at first. Meanwhile, at a restaurant, Tejas is at work. The manager tells him to attend to the customers. Tejas takes an order, but another waiter tells him the dish the customer requested—noodles—isn’t available anymore. Tejas hesitates, worried the customers might create a scene.
Back with Sayali, Sachin finally picks up her call. She tells him about Chandu’s strange behavior and how it made her uncomfortable. Sachin instantly gets furious and says he’ll beat Chandu up. Sayali tries to calm him down and tells him she can handle the situation. He asks why she even called him then. She says she just needed to talk to someone to feel better. He jokes, asking if his mood needs to be better now too. She says yes, and he tells her he has to go pick up a ride. She apologizes and promises to call him if she needs help. He says good—he’ll show up like a hero if needed. Sayali smiles as the call ends.
At the restaurant, Tejas nervously approaches the table again, but the customers are angry and insult him for offering a dish that wasn’t available. Tejas asks them to speak respectfully. The manager quickly steps in, apologizes to the customers, and tells Tejas to leave. He assures the customers he’ll arrange a special dish for them and then scolds Tejas privately, warning him to drop his attitude or find another job.
Later, Sachin tells Sayali about a long ride he took and says he’s saving every penny to buy the mangalsutra for her. Sayali gently reminds him to take care of himself and eat properly. Meanwhile, Chandu asks Bunty for more information about Sayali. Bunty tells him her full name—Sayali Deshmukh—and even gives him her phone number. He warns Chandu not to fall for her, but Chandu brushes it off, saying she’s the 101st girl he’s liked and calls it a “lucky” number. He grins and says he’ll go meet her again tomorrow.

Sayali receives a bouquet along with a voice message from Chandu. Disturbed, she immediately calls Sachin and asks him to come home. But Sachin, out on a ride, says he can’t come right now. Moments later, Sachin meets with a terrible accident. Sayali receives the news and is left in complete shock.
