The episode begins with Sayali confronting Sachin about how his drinking habits are making her feel disrespected in the family. Sachin asks her to eat dinner, but she refuses and says she’s going to bed. She walks away, leaving him upset. The next morning, Sayali offers coffee to Riya. Riya expresses frustration, saying that she and Akash weren’t at fault, yet Sachin blamed them. She asks how Sayali manages these problems every day. Sayali just offers her the coffee. Roshni joins them, and they chat and laugh together.

Riya warns Roshni to keep an eye on Tejas so he doesn’t start drinking like Sachin. Roshni confidently says Tejas won’t do anything she dislikes. Riya agrees, saying Akash also listens to her. She adds that Akash told her Sachin used to drink often. Renu overhears them and becomes concerned. She worries that if all the daughters-in-law become close, she might lose control over the house. Just then, Paresh notices her watching them and calls her aside. He asks why she was staring. Renu says the daughters-in-law were sitting and laughing together. Paresh says that’s a good thing. Renu asks for tea, and Sayali offers to make it. Riya tells Renu to make it herself, and Renu leaves angrily, determined to stay in control.
Later, Mamta arrives at the house. Riya introduces Tejas and Roshni. Mamta says she has heard about Roshni and knows she’s from Dubai. Roshni says yes, her dad lives there. Riya mentions that Roshni owns a beauty parlor and suggests they visit sometime. Mamta says maybe. Renu invites Paresh to meet Mamta, and he greets her politely. He asks why Joy didn’t come, and Renu guesses he must be at work. Mamta opens a bag and shows clothes and jewelry, saying it’s her duty as Riya’s mother. Renu becomes excited seeing the jewelry.
Mamta says it all belongs to Riya. Akash says it’s not necessary, but Mamta insists they couldn’t give anything during the wedding and don’t want to send Riya back empty-handed. She says the items are worth 50 tolas of gold. Renu is thrilled and imagines living like a queen. A funny tune plays in the background. Mamta adds that Joy has also made 500 tolas of gold for Riya, which is kept safely in a locker. She asks them to accept the 50 tolas now. Renu is shocked but happy. She says they’ll keep it, but Paresh intervenes.
Paresh tells Mamta that they never asked for jewelry. Mamta says she knows, but it’s their tradition. Paresh explains that Joy once accused him of caring only about money and that if they accept the gold now, it will prove him right. Riya imagines a scenario where she loses everything. In the end, Paresh refuses to take the gold.

Renu insults Sayali. In response, Sayali returns all the gold ornaments, including her mangalsutra. She firmly says she will only wear things bought with her husband’s earnings.
