The episode begins with Riya cutting the ribbon, and everyone claps. Sachin thanks Riya and says Sayali is the real owner of the shop. He asks her to sit on the main chair. Sayali asks Paresh and Renu for their blessings for her success. Sachin gives them flowers, and they bless both him and Sayali. Shubha also gives her blessings. Sachin hands her a rose and asks Paresh to be Sayali’s first customer. He praises Paresh and gets his blessings. Paresh gives Sayali a 100-rupee note, and she gives him flowers in return. He asks Renu to hand the flower garlands (Gajras) to their daughters-in-law. Akash and others congratulate Sayali. Paresh says he’s really happy with both of them today and tells Sachin he is proud of him. Sachin thanks him and asks Akash to tell his wife to accept a gift envelope.
Riya asks what’s inside. Sachin says it contains Rs. 2501. Akash asks why he’s giving that. Sachin explains that since Riya did the ribbon-cutting, and she’s like a celebrity, she should get a gift. Sayali agrees and hands over the envelope to Riya as a thank-you. Akash tells Riya to accept it, and she takes it and walks away. Sachin then says Renu looks upset and asks her to smile since the shop is in her name. He tells everyone to buy flowers. Paresh says yes, and asks them to bless Sayali. Everyone begins buying flowers, and Sayali feels happy.
Meanwhile, Renu is busy on the phone, getting many calls. She tells someone that Sachin opened a flower shop in her name. Paresh listens and smiles. Renu says she feels awkward. He teases her and says now that it’s her name on the shop, she should manage it. Renu is annoyed when he jokingly calls her “Renuka Phoolwali.” He says she used to call Sayali that, and now people will call her the same. He also says he’ll send the shop photos to Kishor and walks away.
Akash comes inside and asks why she’s here since Sachin has arranged breakfast. Riya says Sachin insulted her by giving back the money as a form of revenge. Akash says it wasn’t like that, and he was just being nice. But Riya insists that Sachin acted out of pride. Akash disagrees. Riya says Sachin always tries to control Sayali, and when she questioned him, his ego got hurt. They start arguing. Renu arrives and asks why Akash is shouting at Riya. Riya tells her what happened. Renu agrees and takes Riya’s side. She criticizes Sayali and Sachin. Akash is surprised. Renu says if people see a flower stall in front of their house, they’ll think badly of them. She says even they will be seen as flower sellers. She tells Riya not to worry and invites her for coffee. Riya thanks her and leaves.
Later, Sachin brings Sayali home. She asks where he’s taking her. He shows her the Superstar Bahu competition and encourages her to win it. He hears Renu on the phone with Shakku, telling her that only Riya and Roshni’s names were submitted, and they were selected. Sachin tells Sayali they should leave before Renu sees them. Riya arrives and argues with Sachin. Renu gives more attention to Riya. Roshni feels jealous. Riya declares she will win the contest. Renu supports her and says she’s proud of her two talented daughters-in-law.
Sachin tells Sayali that Renu planned all this to insult her and asks her to join the contest. Sayali thinks Sachin is right and that winning the competition could prove her worth. But she’s unsure how to do it. Sachin promises to support her and says he’ll attend the competition. He says they’ll see who wins. Renu says they’ll also see what Sayali’s true status in the house is.
