Meanwhile, Veena rushes in to save her son—only for the horrifying truth to be revealed. She is seized by the witch, who lifts her high into the air with supernatural force. Harsh and Veena watch in shock as the witch takes control of Vihaan’s mother, her voice echoing through the room. Declaring that it is Amavasya, the witch vows to claim Veena’s life. The family shouts and cries for her release, their voices carrying to Gauri’s ears.

Vihaan demands that the witch let his mother go. Just as Gauri steps forward, the witch drops Veena to the ground. When Gauri reaches them, she asks why Vihaan’s mother has fainted. Sandhya’s eyes fall to Gauri’s sandal, noticing it is smeared with ashes. Vihaan’s face hardens as he accuses Gauri of endangering his mother. Without hearing her side, the family orders her to leave and carries Veena into the house. The doctor examines Veena and says her vitals are weakening despite her tests coming back normal. Suddenly, her skin begins to turn pale before their eyes, leaving Vihaan stunned. That night, Gauri dreams of a mysterious man filling her hairline with vermilion. She wakes in a panic, and Charu tells her that Vihaan is the cause of her suffering. Calling him selfish and arrogant, Charu vents her anger, but Gauri tries to lighten the moment for her sister and aunt.
Determined to save Veena, Harsh arranges for a helicopter to fly her to the hospital. But when they enter her room, she is gone. Moments later, Vihaan and Harsh see her being dragged downward by an unseen force. Vihaan clings desperately to her hands, refusing to let go, but her grip slips away despite everyone’s frantic efforts. Shattered, Vihaan blames himself for her death, believing that if he had listened sooner, he could have saved her. With resolve hardening in his eyes, he declares he will marry to protect his family’s fortune.
Without warning, Gauri’s mother arrives at Vihaan’s house, bringing Gauri with her. At the same time, Vihaan’s uncle tries to arrange his wedding, but every proposal is rejected. Gauri’s mother confronts Vihaan, accusing him of ruining her daughter’s life and demanding justice. She asks who will marry Gauri now and take responsibility for her future. As compensation, she demands 11 lakhs from him.
Frustrated, Vihaan accuses Gauri of trying to extort money without understanding what truly happened that night. Gauri, her voice calm but cutting, says she pities him for misusing her. Sandhya steps in to defend Vihaan, explaining the tragedy of Veena’s death, but Gauri’s mother seizes the moment to push her demands further. Before Vihaan can respond, Harsh brings grim news—Veena’s aunt’s condition has worsened. The weight of his losses leaves Vihaan visibly shaken.
