The episode opens with Arjun gently guiding Gauri to sit down as Harsh prepares some soup for her. Vihaan watches Gauri intently, and she becomes a little shy under his gaze. Suddenly, Gauri feels as though someone is calling out to her. Curious, she turns around and starts heading up the staircase to investigate. Watching her, Vihaan quietly tells Harsh and Arjun that Gauri seems to be remembering something. Arjun, changing the subject, reminds Vihaan that he forgot his bracelet and that he should be thankful to Gauri for returning it. But Vihaan is tense—he insists that Gauri needs to be sent back before anyone in the house becomes suspicious.

Meanwhile, Gauri follows the faint voice she hears and enters a room where she spots a portrait of a woman. Vihaan feels a strange presence nearby and turns around, but no one is there. Unknown to him, the witch hides above, camouflaged in the ceiling. Just then, Baa walks in and asks Gauri what she’s doing in her room. Gauri innocently replies that she has come to return a tall, handsome boy. Maa ji chuckles and says she has three grandsons who fit that description. As the witch starts moving toward Vihaan, she abruptly halts when she notices Gauri. Downstairs, Maa ji asks Arjun who Gauri is. Arjun quickly responds that she’s Vihaan’s friend. Maa ji then pulls Gauri beside Vihaan, teasingly saying how good they look together. Vihaan steps in and clarifies that Gauri isn’t a friend but had only come to return his bracelet. This raises questions, especially from Vihaan’s mother, who becomes curious about who Gauri really is and why she’s there with Vihaan.
Trying to diffuse the situation, Gauri calmly explains that she’s a cab driver and shows her ID. She politely adds that if anyone ever needs a ride, she’s available. Vihaan’s mother, however, doesn’t take kindly to this. She sharply remarks that no daughter of hers would ever be out working at night. She questions how Gauri’s parents allow her to drive so late and criticizes her for going against tradition and values. Outside, the maid steps out to collect laundry but is stunned when she spots the witch.
Back inside, Gauri becomes furious at Vihaan’s mother’s harsh accusations. She snaps back, saying that if the concern is about behavior, then Vihaan should also be kept at home. Vihaan is incensed by Gauri’s words and nearly loses his temper, but his brothers quickly hold him back. Gauri defends her parents’ upbringing and tells Vihaan’s mother that instead of pointing fingers, she should be supportive. Vihaan argues that his mother has the right to question someone who steps into their home, but Gauri retorts that his mother has no right to judge her character. The argument escalates until Vihaan grabs Gauri by the arm and forces her to leave. She tells him that she has no intention of staying there anyway. Vihaan slams the door behind her, hurting Rani in the process.
As all this unfolds, the witch quietly gains control over the maid’s soul and leads her away. Gauri senses that something strange is happening, but when she looks around, she doesn’t see anything.
