The Evil Eye Returns On Starlife Full Story Summary , Plot & Casts
Kaamini, a powerful witch, gives birth to a child fathered by Ravikant Pratap Singh and declares him the “Daavansh”—a being destined to grant her immortality. At the same time, a baby girl is born as a “Reevavanshi”, the chosen one destined to bring an end to the Daavansh and all the witches. A wise woman from the Prathamvansh clan foretells that this girl will be the destruction of the dark forces. Terrified for her daughter’s future, the girl’s mother names her Gauri and strips her of her divine powers, burying them until the right time comes for her to reclaim them. To keep her safe from the witches, she sets Gauri adrift in a river, hoping divine protection will watch over her. But Kaamini, burning with vengeance, kills both Gauri’s parents. Elsewhere, Ravikant asks Kaamini to meet their son, Vihaan. But Ravikant’s wife, Veena Pratap Singh, escapes with the child using enchanted crystals gifted by the Reevavanshis. Enraged, Kaamini murders Ravikant, but before she can take back her son, Veena turns her into a statue using the same magic. Just before she’s petrified, Kaamini swears that her son Vihaan will one day inherit her dark legacy and bring her back to life. Veena, determined to shield him from that fate, raises Vihaan as her own.

Meanwhile, Gauri is found by a poor man who adopts her, though his wife, Rekha, never accepts the girl. Gauri grows up unaware of her powers and becomes the sole breadwinner by driving a taxi. Rekha, who dances at weddings, urges Gauri to follow her path, but Gauri dreams of freedom and hopes to help her bright foster sister, Charu, study at a top college. Vihaan, aware of his strange powers but unable to control them, wears a magical bangle to keep them in check. He yearns for answers about his abilities, but Veena keeps him in the dark. On the ominous night of Kaal Sapt Grahan, a rare celestial event, Vihaan feels his powers stir and slips away from home. One of the Tridayans—three dark witches bound to the Tree of Darkness—attacks him. He barely escapes and runs into Gauri. In a surge of uncontrollable power, he injures her by accident. When the celestial influence fades, he wipes her memory and vanishes, leaving behind the bangle, which Gauri later tries to return. But when she visits his house, Veena insults her for her humble profession. Later, to save his family from relentless attacks by witches, Vihaan marries Gauri against her will. An evil witch named Sunehri learns Gauri’s true identity as a Rishwa and tries to kill her but fails. Eventually, Gauri unknowingly kills Sunehri when Vihaan enslaves her. The family believes Vihaan defeated the witch, and he once again erases Gauri’s memory.
Over time, Gauri begins falling in love with Vihaan but struggles to express her feelings. Her protectors emerge—Rakshini (Siya) and Bhavishyata (Charu). Meanwhile, Kaamini returns, her presence sparking terror in the Singh family. She tries to reclaim Vihaan as her son and turn him into a true Daavansh. But Gauri thwarts her plan. Gauri’s identity as Rishwa is revealed, and with the help of the divine Rish Dhanush, she defeats Kaamini. Gauri falls into a coma. Vihaan is visited by Lord Shiva, who purifies him of his dark side. He prays desperately, and Gauri awakens. She is welcomed back by the family. But Kaamini’s spirit returns, revealing that Veena had unknowingly led Gauri’s parents to their deaths. Gauri confronts Veena, who denies everything. Vihaan, furious, throws Gauri out of his house. Around this time, an evil parallel version of Vihaan appears, and Gauri’s long-lost twin sister, Kesar—a fiery witch—emerges. Kesar cannot control her powers, which are tied to a woodpecker enslaved by her sinister guardians.
Vihaan stays with Gauri in her small home when she refuses to return to his mansion. Meanwhile, a dark force summoned by Daavansh Vihaan draws Gauri into the sacred realm of Pratham Tantra. Mohana, the supreme witch, awakens to avenge Kaamini’s death and threatens Vihaan’s family. Gauri uses her powers to protect him. Daavansh manipulates Kesar into marrying him, pretending to save her from angry villagers. But it’s all a trap—his strength increases with the union while Vihaan grows weaker. Gauri and her ally Arjun track him down.
Daavansh and Kesar complete their wedding rituals under the Prathamvriksh, further amplifying his power. Gauri tries to stop them while Arjun attempts to prevent Kesar from fulfilling a sacred offering. Mohana sends Betalini to kill Vihaan, but she fails. Kesar, now aware of the truth, attempts to kill Daavansh. But he uses a dark thread to fuse with Vihaan and reemerge as a dominant force. In a desperate move to save Vihaan and his family, Gauri surrenders her Rishwa powers to Mohana. Kesar is killed by Mohana, who steals her fire magic to destroy Gauri.
Betalini, secretly in love with Harsh, reveals Mohana’s sinister plan. With help from Prathamvanshis, Gauri learns that on Vihaan’s 25th birthday, after performing final death rituals for his family and Rishwa, he will fully become Daavansh. She scrambles to stop him. As the rituals begin, Gauri and her allies manage to delay them, averting global destruction. Harsh, Siya, and Arjun discover that a ring given to Harsh by Kesar has chosen Gauri as its new bearer. During a fierce battle with Mohana, Gauri is injured, and the ring bonds with her. In a dream, Kesar explains everything to her. Empowered with new Rishwa Mani powers, Gauri defeats Mohana.
Vihaan, now under Daavansh’s complete control, slaughters the family one by one and heads toward Gauri. She and Siya are shattered when they see the corpses. Determined, Gauri faces Daavansh in battle. She surrenders herself and is gravely wounded by his Agnishastra. But in her near-death state, Gauri channels her love and light to bring Vihaan back. Daavansh vanishes. Siya uses the Reevavanshi ring to resurrect the family. But Gauri’s life begins to fade. She creates a protective shield around herself so no one can stop her fate. With quiet strength, she falls from a cliff—everyone believes she is gone forever.
Three years later, on Vihaan’s birthday, the family plans a celebration. But Vihaan, still heartbroken, destroys the decorations and mourns Gauri. Far away, Gauri lives quietly in a secluded hut, raising their toddler son—who bears all the powers of a Daavansh. Mohana and the other witches seek the child, but he cleverly stays ahead of them, hiding his true strength.
