The episode begins with Poorvi confronting RV, demanding to know why he married her and why he did this to her. RV calmly responds that she already knows the truth and that Monisha should be the one asking these questions. He explains that he married her for her family’s respect and to protect her from the neighbors’ accusations about her character that day. He reminds her that Ashutosh had advised him to marry her if she was truly so good, and that he had been with her at the cottage that day. To save her and her family, he acted as he thought was right. Poorvi points out that he was already engaged, but RV insists that it didn’t matter—she had been engaged too, and revealing his engagement would have brought humiliation to her and her family. He adds that they know their own truth, but outsiders wouldn’t have understood. He admits it was not easy for him to explain this to his family. She trusted him and left for her fashion designer course for three months, and he had assumed Poorvi would return after three months, allowing Monisha to come back to him. He wanted both women to have their lives without harm, and he never intended to hurt Poorvi or Monisha. He reminds Poorvi that Monisha has always supported him, and he won’t allow her to be hurt. He tells Poorvi that if she has any complaints, she can share them with him but should not speak of them to Monisha. Poorvi hesitates, asking how she could complain about “your ex.” RV interrupts, telling her not to call Monisha an ex and to use her name instead.
