The episode begins with the neighbors, Sudha and Kajal, arriving at Prachi’s house. Vishaka immediately asks them to leave, while Prachi questions why they have come. Sudha and Kajal explain that they heard RV would be coming today and wanted to meet him. As they look around, Sudha notices Poorvi and begins taunting her, claiming that RV has left her. She says that if Poorvi had spoken to them nicely, they would have considered her as their daughter and even hidden her flaws. They accuse Poorvi of having relationships with three men before her marriage to RV. Manpreet steps in and asks them to leave, but Sudha refuses, insisting she isn’t Kajal. Vishaka forcefully pushes them out, leaving everyone tense and worried.

Meanwhile, Harleen tells RV’s Chachi that she is preparing food for RV, hoping he will come early. Dadu reminds her to consider Poorvi’s likes as well and asks when RV will bring Poorvi. The neighbors, now joined by more of their peers, continue spreading malicious gossip about Poorvi. Manpreet and Khushi both ask them to leave. Sudha insists that they would have thrown their own daughter out for what Poorvi has done. Divya asks what Poorvi did wrong, and Prachi confirms that Poorvi hasn’t done anything. She questions the neighbors, asking if they understand how harmful their words are. Manpreet challenges them, asking what they would do if RV arrived and demanded an apology.
The neighbors continue their tirade, with Kajal claiming that RV spent the first night with Poorvi and has realized she is not suitable for him, so he won’t come to take her back. Sudha echoes the same accusation. Diya, however, defends her sister, asserting that RV will come because he has already filled Poorvi’s maang in front of everyone. The neighbors arrogantly reply that RV will not come and tell Diya that they are wise beyond their years and know everything. Vishaka asks them again what they will do if RV does arrive. Kajal says they would leave their homes, while Sudha adds that if RV doesn’t come by 4 pm, they will apologize and move out of the neighborhood. After leaving, Sudha incites other neighbors, claiming that Poorvi had affairs with two men before marriage and encouraging them to side with her.
Inside, Prachi tells Poorvi not to worry about the neighbors’ taunts. Vishaka suggests that maybe they should leave the area, and Divya offers to shift them somewhere else. Khushi invites them to her flat, but Prachi insists they should not leave in fear. She reminds everyone that the neighbors are also like family and that they will be quiet once RV arrives. Khushi doubts RV will come, while Poorvi confirms they had a small argument earlier. Vishaka, Divya, and others advise her not to fight with her husband. Khushi remains skeptical, saying RV would have come by now if he intended to. Just then, RV arrives at the house and asks, “Were you talking about me?” Everyone turns to look at him in surprise.
Khushi insisting that they must face the truth: if RV truly wanted to come, he would have arrived by now. Suddenly, RV appears and asks if they were speaking about him. Kajal nudges Sudha, amazed that he has arrived, and Sudha guesses that Prachi must have called him, pleading so that they wouldn’t have to leave the neighborhood. Another neighbor insists she refuses to leave her home. Diya steps forward angrily, confronting them for always looking for a chance to criticize her family. She reminds Kajal that they once claimed her family was like their own, yet they never treated them as family. She warns them firmly that they have until 8 pm to apologize to Prachi or leave the neighborhood. Manpreet gestures for RV to sit, and he thanks her, taking a seat.
Vishaka expresses relief and happiness at RV’s presence, while Prachi adds that even a brief appearance would have brought them comfort. She explains how humiliated they felt when the neighbors taunted Poorvi so harshly. RV is surprised and says Khushi never told him anything, questioning why she didn’t. She admits she didn’t know. RV reassures her that he was only joking, as she is his sister-in-law, and admits that legal troubles would have kept him away otherwise, but he managed to find a way and is thankful to be there. Vishaka and Divya share their relief, and Manpreet asks Prachi to begin the pagphera rasam. Prachi tells Poorvi to get ready and asks Khushi to show RV the washroom. RV and Khushi exchange a meaningful glance as they move together.
As Khushi guides him, she questions RV’s intentions. He claims he has none, but when she holds his hand, she asks if he really intends to take Poorvi with him. RV confirms, calling for Poorvi, but she is not there. He warns Khushi that Poorvi would be upset if she knew he was delayed because of her interference. After washing his face in the washroom, RV reminds Khushi that all her family is happy he came, and without him, they would have been saddened while the neighbors celebrated. He insists she follow his instructions and remain quiet for now. Just then, Diya enters, sensing tension, and RV instructs her to ask her sister about the situation. Khushi explains that she tried to ensure Poorvi stayed, but RV refused.
RV’s expression hardens as he lectures Khushi about karma. He warns her that wrongdoing brings suffering, just as his family experienced misfortune because of others’ bad deeds. He predicts heart attacks, humiliation, and heartbreak for her family if she interferes, even hinting that Diya could end up with a terrible husband. Khushi retorts that she will not let him harm her family. RV tells her to go and explain to everyone that everything he said will happen. He reveals that he got the restraining orders dismissed, which delayed him slightly. He points out that Poorvi’s mark was absent on the papers, and he plans to clarify that while she didn’t want him to take her, he is doing it now to end the lingering torture from earlier.
Ashok arrives, calling RV for breakfast, noting that everyone is happy. RV walks with him. Khushi turns and sees Poorvi standing nearby, realizing that she had been hiding.
