Twist Of Fate 25th August 2025 Written Update Zeeworld
Monisha and Deepika are clustered near the kitchen, trading barbs while the rest of the house goes about its day. Monisha points out, with the kind of smugness that never quite disappears, that only Poorvi is making the sweets. Deepika says she won’t let that stand — she wants to win Dadu’s favor — and drags Monisha toward the stove with a conspiratorial smile. When Poorvi walks in, Deepika fakes concern about something “falling outside the door,” and uses the moment to set a petty test: can Poorvi mop the floor properly? Poorvi bristles but asks where the mop is; Deepika, not content with a proper tool, tells her to wipe the floor with tissues instead. Monisha snipes that they can’t even afford a servant, and the room hums with the small cruelty of people who feel the need to prove status. Poorvi answers coolly that she knows how to mop and will do it, but she asks Monisha to watch her — and the sharp exchanges pile up into a quarrel about class and dignity. Deepika can’t resist one more jab: she wonders why a rich man like RV would marry a middle-class woman at all, and Monisha fans the insult into something meaner. Poorvi restrains herself from a retort out of respect for her husband and walks away; Deepika, triumphant, announces she’ll make kaju burfi to impress Dadu.

The scene flips to a quieter part of the house where Poorvi and RV unexpectedly collide. RV is idly in a towel; Poorvi, exasperated by male casualness, tells him the room is hers too and that “new people, new rules” should apply. He chuckles that it’s his room and insists on his way — a tiny power struggle that reads like a negotiation over boundaries. Poorvi claims the mess in their room and the evening’s disarray is her doing; RV maintains that his rules still stand. When she reaches for a glass of water, her hand slips; the cup scatters and both of them tumble onto the bed. The tumble is awkward, electric; before either can straighten the moment, Harleen walks in and freezes at the sight. Poorvi insists nothing inappropriate happened — that her hair got caught in RV’s chain and he was only trying to free it — but the gossip mill has already started to whir.
Harleen rushes out and whispers to Vaishali that RV is getting closer to Poorvi. That whisper reaches Monisha and Deepika, who immediately switch from scheming to alarmed: Monisha is furious that she sent Poorvi away to the kitchen at just the wrong moment and worries the girl might “trap” RV. Deepika, who engineered the distraction for a necklace, tries to justify herself but can’t completely hide her regret. In the background the house continues: small alliances rearrange themselves, and everyone looks for a line to draw.
Despite the commotion, Poorvi puts her focus back on the sweets. She tells RV she needs to make laddoos for Dadu; someone calls her to stop, but the old man arrives just then and the kitchen tension melts into something warmer. Dadu sees the sweets on the table and lights up, barking playful orders at the younger generation and demanding to be served. A family argument over who is right and who is cute bubbles up — Dadu and Dadi trade jibes, and Harman, RV, Vikrant and Yug stand by to watch the performance. Poorvi insists she didn’t actually make the sweets, but Deepika confesses she did it to please Dadu; even so, Dadu stubbornly declares he will eat them and places one before himself like a feast reserved. When he tastes the laddoo, his face softens — it’s good — and he announces he will have a month’s worth of sweets in advance. The moment unravels the tensions for a beat: Poorvi hands out the sweets carefully, offering a piece to everyone. In a house that runs on gossip and small slights, a warm, honest laddoo does what words could not — it quiets the edges, if only for a little while.
Dadaji and Dadi both heap praise on Prachi’s cooking, and everyone in the room smiles at the warm, easy mood. Deepika suddenly asks Purvi if she knew that Dadaji has diabetes, and Purvi, surprised, says she didn’t. Monisha seizes on that and snaps that Purvi can’t be trusted with any duty if she doesn’t even know something so basic. Deepika presses Purvi about why she didn’t make a special sweet for Dadaji. Purvi squirms and explains she went into the kitchen to make the sweet but got distracted when she found RV wrapped only in a towel.
Later, Purvi tells the whole Malhotra family exactly what happened: RV was in a towel, they tripped and got tangled on the bed, and it was an awkward accident. Dadi can’t help teasing them both, laughing at the embarrassment. Monisha tries to shut the teasing down, and Deepika quickly offers a cover story for Monisha so the situation doesn’t spiral.
Then Dadaji announces a surprise: he has booked honeymoon tickets for Purvi and RV and tells Purvi to pack, because they are leaving soon. RV freezes and protests—he says he can’t possibly go on a honeymoon right now. Monisha bristles at the idea of RV and Purvi going away together and storms out; Deepika follows to calm her down. Outside, Monisha scolds Deepika, asking how she could be so soft and let this happen. She says it’s a good thing RV refused, and insists they must find a way to keep him away from Purvi and, if possible, out of the house altogether.
Back inside, Harleen and others try to convince Dadaji that RV really can’t go. Dadi asks Hermal bluntly why RV shouldn’t go if he’s fine. Vaishali opens her mouth to say the truth but Hermal gives her a look, and she bites it back. Purvi, trying to be helpful and not make more trouble, tells Dadaji that RV has important meetings and can’t miss them. RV, caught, nods and agrees to the excuse. Dadaji refuses to be thwarted: he offers a practical solution—Hernal and Jaswanth will attend the meetings for RV, and Yug can step in too, since he understands RV’s business. RV looks for another polite excuse but Dadaji is firm and tells him to pack.
Monisha takes Deepika aside and presses her: she needs Deepika to take RV far away so they can control the house. Deepika surprises Monisha by saying she might have a reason to help—if Monisha becomes RV’s sister-in-law, she’ll gain influence. Monisha agrees to try; Deepika says she’ll book the tickets, and Monisha leaves to put the plan into motion.
Meanwhile, Prachi keeps calling Purvi, worried and wanting to talk, but Purvi doesn’t pick up. Prachi grows anxious, so Manpreet gently tells her to set the phone aside and focus on the day. Diya wakes up late and joins Prachi and Manpreet; they tell her they’ll go to RV’s house at eleven. Hearing that, Diya hurries to get ready. Purvi, sitting in her room, realizes she does not want to go on a honeymoon with RV after all. She thinks about telling Prachi but sees Prachi’s missed calls and decides she can’t explain the real reason, so she doesn’t call back.
Monisha pulls RV aside and apologizes for losing her temper earlier. She tells him she was upset but is calm now and wants them to go out. RV curtly says he’s going to Shimla; Monisha reminds him he had refused before, and when he admits he’s agreed now she smiles and wishes him a good trip. Back at the mall, Diya and Prachi are hunting for warm clothes. Prachi drops her phone and a young girl kindly picks it up and hands it back. The girl then asks the shop manager to show her some bridal chunaris, and the manager eagerly places her in the right section. Diya rings Dadi but Yug answers and they bicker a little; Dadi finally takes the call and tells Diya Poorvi is busy packing, which worries Diya for a moment until Dadi explains that Dadaji surprised them with honeymoon tickets for Poorvi and RV.
On the road, RV walks up behind Monisha and gently stops her from going off alone. Monisha teases him about being afraid she’ll meet an accident and tells him to concentrate on driving. She presses him for a promise that he’ll cancel any honeymoon plans and asks whether he loves her; RV answers in a way that leaves her half satisfied. Poorvi, who is nearby, overhears the exchange and quietly slips away. Later, she replays Monisha’s request in her head and thinks about how much she has been enduring—all because of Diya, she tells herself.
Diya calls back Dadi, bubbling with excitement about the honeymoon news. Dadi teases Poorvi playfully and tells her to celebrate—Diya persuades Poorvi to do a little bhangra over the phone and then happily tells Prachi what she’s been up to. Prachi goes to the billing counter to pay for the clothes, while the young girl who returned the phone collides with a customer; her bag falls and a sensor starts beeping. The manager, alarmed, asks staff to check the bag and finds an unbilled chunari inside. He accuses the girl of shoplifting and calls the police. The girl protests, insisting she didn’t steal anything and asking to be treated with respect.
When the police arrive, the situation escalates quickly. Prachi steps forward and demands that the manager check the CCTV footage before jumping to conclusions—she points out that the girl bought other items worth a lot and that it makes no sense she would steal an expensive chunari. Tension fills the shop as customers look on; the manager insists the piece is worth eighty thousand rupees and presses the inspector to make an arrest. Prachi keeps arguing for fairness, trying to calm the crowd and get the truth on camera.
Meanwhile Poorvi, weighed down by what she overheard and by the growing chaos, finds herself facing RV again. She confronts him about his coldness; he answers bluntly that he does not care. Hurt, Poorvi tells him he’s wrong for saying that and that she doesn’t care about Monisha or him, but the ache in her voice betrays her. The episode leaves the shop in turmoil with Prachi demanding the CCTV be checked and Poorvi and RV standing off, each wounded in different ways.
