Twist Of Fate Wednesday 27th August 2025 Written Update
Outside, Prachi steps down from a car after shopping. A kind woman who had helped her earlier gives Prachi a tiny protective token, insisting it will keep her daughter safe. Prachi is surprised, grateful, and moved by the unexpected kindness. She tucks the charm into her bag, thinking of Poorvi and the gifts that bind families together. At the house, RV pauses his calls. He finally reaches KK, the businessman Monisha suggested. The conversation is brisk and full of deals: RV says he wants to pitch a big electric vehicle project tomorrow and hopes KK will insist on a private meeting. KK teases that RV should claim the deal for himself, but they eventually agree to try for the bigger prize. Monisha watches, relieved; for now, the honeymoon plan remains on shaky ground but still scheduled.

Back in Poorvi’s room, Dadi fusses, trying to convince Poorvi to accept the dress. Poorvi admits she’s not sure she wants to wear something so showy; she doesn’t feel the same as she once did, and the change in her heart scares her. Dadi isn’t having it — she reminds Poorvi that traditions give a woman rights, that RV filled her mangalsutra, and that Poorvi has a claim on her husband. She gently urges Poorvi to accept her place and to protect her bond. Poorvi’s face shows confusion and fear more than joy. The conversation is less about clothes and more about identity: who she is now, who she must be for others, and what she owes herself.
The household grows lively with visitors. RV’s mother invites Prachi to rest and offers snacks while she fusses like any proud mother-in-law. Prachi says sadly that the house feels emptier without her own home around her, and Poorvi pulls her into a warm hug. The mood should be celebratory, but undercurrents of worry ripple through Poorvi’s smile: she misses her home, she is unsure of the role she must play, and the day ahead already feels heavy.
In a quiet corner, Monisha and Deepika plot. Deepika is frantic that RV and Poorvi might become too close — she warns Monisha not to trust that RV would refuse a night with another woman, bluntly reminding her that men can be weak when tempted. Monisha listens, lips tight, caught between pride and fear. Vaishali joins them, telling Monisha to stand firm and to return to the fight; the three women begin to plan how to protect Monisha’s place in the family. Their whispering feels conspiratorial and small, a private campaign launched over tea and nerves.
Outside the market, Prachi meets a young woman again — the same girl who turned out to be honest about the dupatta. The girl introduces herself as Trishna Jaiswal and is kind and straightforward. She gives small gifts to the children from the basti and invites Prachi and Diya to ride with her. Prachi hesitates but accepts; the two women exchange quick, honest smiles. Trishna’s generosity lifts Prachi’s spirits. It is a small reminder that ordinary people have ordinary goodness too, and Prachi clings to that thought as she thinks of Poorvi leaving.
As packing continues, Poorvi thinks of her pledge to Prachi and the awkward conversation she had with RV. She does not want to go on the honeymoon, not because she dislikes RV, but because she can’t bring herself to pretend everything is simple. Still, when Dadaji orders the trip, she agrees for his sake. Dadi tucks the little gift box into her bag and tells her to carry a piece of the family’s blessing with her. Poorvi smiles weakly and hugs her mother one more time.
By evening, the house hums with tension and affection: Dadaji is proud and insistently celebratory, Dadi is delighted in the ritual power of family, Monisha and Deepika plot and bristle, and Poorvi stands between gratitude and doubt. No one speaks plainly about the fear that has settled in Poorvi’s chest, but the dress in her hands, the last-minute calls, the whispered strategies — all of it says the same thing: nothing about this marriage will be simple, and everyone here is already bracing for what comes next.
RV asks Prachi and Diya if there’s any special ritual they should follow to send Poorvi back home after pagphera. Diya teases him that he clearly can’t stay away from Poorvi, and RV jokes he’ll suffer terrible withdrawal. Poorvi answers, half-smiling, that she’ll feel the same. Prachi slips a few small things into Poorvi’s hands for Shimla — a scarf, a little charm — and Poorvi thanks her quietly. Before anyone can linger, Monisha arrives and introduces herself again as Deepika’s sister. She pulls RV aside and says she needs to speak with him privately; she admits she lied earlier to protect him. RV listens, cool and distant. Prachi notices them talking and grows a little uncertain. Dadi, sensing the moment should be private, gently ushers Poorvi, Prachi and Diya up to Poorvi’s room.
At home, Tashu is excited and chatty: she tells her father about meeting Prachi and how friendly Prachi was. Upstairs, Poorvi shows Prachi and Diya into the room that’s been given to her. Diya teases that it really does feel like Jiju’s room — a little too luxurious for their tastes — and tells Poorvi to soak up the comfort while she can. Prachi asks why Monisha is still here; Poorvi shrugs, worried, and says it’s nothing. When Ranbir’s name flashes on the phone, Poorvi hands the call to Prachi. Ranbir — the man Prachi calls “KK sir” — speaks warmly and protectively; he tells Poorvi he thinks of her as a daughter and that if anything is wrong she should tell him. He even offers to change the honeymoon plans if that would help. Poorvi listens, relieved; she tells Prachi quietly afterwards that Ranbir made her feel safe.
Downstairs, Vikrant tells Yug that KK has a meeting scheduled for tomorrow. RV overhears and panics: he says he can’t possibly make the meeting and suggests canceling the honeymoon to keep his work inviolate. Vikrant corrects him — the meeting was for KK, not RV — and RV is taken aback. Over on the other line, KK calls his manager to make it clear he considers Poorvi like his own daughter and won’t let anyone mistreat her. The manager is skeptical, muttering that KK’s sentiment sounds like old loyalty more than fact. RV frantically rings Ranbir, trying to smooth things over, but Ranbir instructs the manager to take the call instead. When Ranbir finally speaks with RV, he’s brisk and firm: he tells RV to attend the meeting with his brother, promises he values Poorvi’s happiness above all, and reminds RV that promises to elders sometimes matter more than excuses. Ranbir’s tone leaves RV simmering with awkwardness and a little resentment.
When Poorvi returns with Prachi and Diya, the family is busy and bright — all the outward signs of celebration. RV moves forward, as if to touch Poorvi’s feet in a traditional blessing, but Prachi gently stops him and reminds him of the promise he made earlier. She asks him, quietly but firmly, to take care of Poorvi. Prachi’s words are simple but carry weight; she invites Poorvi to visit her anytime and asks Poorvi to call whenever she needs support. Diya adds her own soft promise: that Prachi and her new jiju are always there for Poorvi, and that family will watch over her. Poorvi smiles, grateful for the small fortress of friends and elders around her.
Monisha watches all of this and asks RV, plainly, if Prachi was hinting at her — whether Prachi meant that Monisha should be careful, or jealous. RV deflects, saying no, and looks at Poorvi with something like concern. He can’t quite understand why Poorvi is keeping things to herself. The house hums with polite chatter and practiced joy, but beneath that cheer there are threads of unease: promises made to elders, quick phone calls about business, and young women wondering how much of their lives they really choose. Poorvi tucks the small things Prachi gave her into her bag and breathes in the soft chaos of a family that wants to protect her, even when she isn’t sure how to protect herself.
Prachi leaves RV’s house, but Harleen insists she stay for a cup of tea. Prachi agrees and sits down. She leans in and quietly tells Harleen something only a mother could understand: Poorvi is a sensitive girl who keeps her worries inside so no one else gets troubled. Harleen asks if something happened, but Prachi shakes her head, saying it’s just for her awareness and she should keep an eye out. She also asks Harleen to watch over Monisha, who is still childish and unaware of boundaries. Harleen promises she will, and Prachi, reassured, leaves knowing Poorvi is in safe hands.
Back at the house, Dadi and Dadu arrive, followed by RV and Monisha. Dadu asks where Prachi went, and Harleen informs him that she has left. Dadi smiles and says they’ll meet her later, then urges RV and Poorvi to begin their honeymoon. Dadu warns them not to show their faces back home until it’s over. RV notes the flight is missed and KK canceled the meeting, leaving him confused. Dadu calmly tells them he already knows and has booked a resort in Mahabaleshwar. The servants bring their suitcases, and the chauffeur is ready, but RV insists on driving. Harleen suggests they change and freshen up first, sending them off to prepare.
