Mauli’s heart feels heavy as she turns to Kunal, asking softly if he, too, is unhappy with her. She knows she’s constantly busy and still remembers how she failed to be the first to wish him on their anniversary night. Kunal sits beside her, his voice warm and steady. He reminds her that when he was stressed after leaving his job, she was the one who held his hand. When he fell ill, she was the one who cared for him. She’s the first to understand his dreams and ambitions. They’ve shared every high and low over the last three years.

Mauli sighs, saying Neha must have done all the same things for Nilesh. Kunal shakes his head, insisting Nilesh isn’t a man of principle, but the three of them—Mauli, Neha, and himself—stay true to both their work and their personal lives. Mauli repeats the word “true?” as if to test it. Kunal grins and asks if she thinks he’s got “idiot” written on his forehead, then teases that he’s even had her name tattooed on his finger, something no other girl would tolerate. Mauli gets a little flustered, but Kunal is just happy to see the woman he loves back to her old self. Playfully, he tells her she owes him a romantic lunch at a nice place.
The next morning, Mauli packs his lunch box before hurriedly stuffing clothes into her own suitcase. Kunal calls out for his socks and tie, and before she can answer, Dida shouts for her water bottle. Mauli rushes to help, but then the doorbell rings. She opens the door to find her mother standing there. Overjoyed, she takes her blessings. Dida’s reaction is cool, but Mauli urges her mother to ignore it. Her mother flashes a cheeky smile and shows her an earpiece she brought along. Kunal joins them, greeting her cheerfully, but he notices she looks weak. She explains it’s just a viral infection, but both of them grow concerned. Kunal points out that with two doctors in the house, she’ll be fine.
Dida appears and makes a sarcastic comment about how she can’t even take care of herself—how will she take care of her ROFL? Kunal laughs, explaining to his mother that ROFL means “Rolling on the Floor Laughing.” Mauli’s mother mutters that Beeji has become far too entertaining. She urges them to leave before they’re late. Kunal asks Mauli to help him with his packing, earning a mock scolding from her mother for being spoiled. He charms Mauli with sweet words and pulls her away.
Meanwhile, Raaj scrolls through photos of women on his phone when Nandini steps out of the bathroom. His gaze lingers on her bare neck as he calls her over. Nervously, she obeys as he tells her to turn around, then walk a few steps away and back toward him. He instructs her to bend slightly and then cruelly pinches the skin at her waist, warning her not to gain weight. He reminds her that he married her for her beauty and won’t tolerate her losing it, especially since her parents are no longer alive to protect her. Nandini promises to slim down. She moves to get dressed, but Raaj tries to get intimate. Her face shows clear discomfort.
Later, Kunal hums a tune while driving, asking Mauli if he sings well. She teases that he’s chosen the wrong career. He grins and suggests skipping the conference for a bit of romance, but Mauli insists they go. Just then, he slams the brakes—there’s been an accident behind them. A woman and child are trapped in a car. Without hesitation, Kunal climbs onto the vehicle to reach them. The child, Rohit, is too frightened to take his hand, but Kunal persists until he finally pulls the boy to safety. The crowd applauds as they lead Rohit and his mother away. At the conference lunch hall, Raaj questions a waiter about the delay in serving food. The man explains the salad bar is still being prepared. Raaj demands meat dishes instead, and when told they’ll be another ten minutes, he insists on speaking to the manager. The manager proudly mentions a special salad arrangement for the doctors. Raaj orders Nandini to sit while he goes for a smoke.
Left alone, Nandini notices a waiter accidentally smash a decorative vase. He worries aloud that he’ll lose his job. She steps forward to help, arranging another table herself with an array of fruit carvings. Soon, a crowd gathers, admiring her skill. Raaj returns with a potential investor, who’s drawn toward the commotion. A waiter points out that everyone is looking at Raaj’s wife. Nandini only glances up when the clapping starts. People praise her work and snap selfies. Raaj steps forward, kissing her forehead and introducing her to Dr. Mehta, a cardiologist. Nandini quietly slips away to wash her hands.
Meanwhile, Mauli tends to the woman’s injuries while Kunal wraps a bandage around Rohit’s head. The ambulance arrives. Rohit tells Kunal not to forget his name—Rohit Kumar—and wishes him good luck. Mauli smiles, saying children adore Kunal and their own child would be lucky to have him as a father. His eyes light up as he asks if she’s pregnant, but she laughs and says they’ll talk about it when there’s real news.
Back at the hotel, Nandini wanders through the hallway and bumps into a banner for the conference. Her eyes widen when she spots Mauli’s photo on it, listed among young leaders. A wave of joy and nostalgia hits her—Mauli has become a successful doctor. She wonders how it will feel to see her again after so many years, and how she might make amends for the mistakes of the past. She imagines the words she’ll say in apology.
Downstairs, Mauli and Kunal arrive. Mauli calls out for Kunal to grab her bag, and at the sound of her voice, Nandini turns. Her heart races as she finally faces Mauli once more.
