Nandini grows nervous when she notices Raaj holding her purse, demanding to know how his keys ended up inside it. He refuses to let go, but just then she spots the missing keys hidden behind the cushions. Relieved, she snatches them and breathes easier. Meanwhile, Mauli returns home with her maid and hurries inside to get the house ready for her visiting parents. Their neighbor, Sweety, stops her along the way with a sly question: did she and Kunal just return from Goa together? Mauli calmly explains it was only for a medical conference, but Sweety keeps probing, asking why they didn’t travel back together. She even compares their situation to a TV drama where a busy wife drives her husband into another woman’s arms. Before things escalate, Dida cleverly diverts Sweety’s attention by pointing out her own husband lingering too long with a vegetable vendor. Embarrassed, Sweety rushes off.

Kunal arrives just then and scolds Mauli for wasting time entertaining the nosy neighbor. Mauli shrugs it off, reminding him they are still neighbors. But Kunal worries her mother will soon arrive and criticize if everything at home isn’t perfect, especially the food. Determined, Mauli reassures him that everything will be ready in time. Nandini, on the other hand, is overjoyed when she learns she is pregnant. She wants to share the news with Raaj but decides to wait until he is in a better mood, certain he will accept it happily.
Back at Mauli’s house, Kunal gently pushes Dida on her wheelchair, and she mischievously sends him to fetch wine for her. Soon Mauli and her mother-in-law spot Mauli’s parents arriving and rush to welcome them. Dida asks about Mayank, and Papa explains she is parking downstairs. Papa then comments on Kunal’s leaner look, to which Kunal jokes that he is dieting just to enjoy today’s meal. When Mama inquires about his job, Mauli quickly cuts in before Kunal can reveal the truth, saying he is opening his own clinic. Mama beams with pride, while Kunal discreetly warns Mauli that her little lies won’t stop Mama from finding new reasons to criticize.
Moments later, Mayank arrives cheerfully and greets Kunal, who gifts him a pair of sunglasses. When asked about their Saturday movie outings, Kunal explains that Mauli has taken up a new job and their weekends are now busy. Mama frowns, reminding Mauli that a woman’s first responsibility should always be her home. Later in Mauli’s room, Mama presses her yet again about having a child. Mauli insists the timing isn’t right—they need to first stabilize Kunal’s career and clinic. But Mama accuses her of being selfish, suggesting she only cares about her own ambitions. Papa steps in, reminding Mama that Mauli has already helped her brother financially multiple times. Still, Mama storms off, leaving Mauli in tears.
Kunal notices her distress and asks what’s wrong. Though Mauli tries to hide it, he tells her she can’t fool him. She quickly changes the subject and leads Dida to dinner. To lighten the mood, Kunal brings out his guitar, serenading Mauli as the whole family dances together. For a moment, their bond shines—Kunal and Mauli even share a meal from the same plate, though Mauli can’t hold back her tears. Tenderly, Kunal wipes them away.
That night, as they sit together, Kunal asks if she knows when he feels the most hurt. Mauli playfully guesses it’s when she stops him from eating sweets, but he reveals it’s when he sees tears in her eyes. She asks if he’s upset about her Saturday job, but he admits he’s happy if she’s happy. Their tender moment ends with him stepping out to prepare green tea, while she cheekily tosses him a chocolate.
Meanwhile, Nandini sets up wine for Raaj, hoping to share her news. To her surprise, Raaj appears pleased and even calls her “sensible.” Believing his mood is finally good, she prepares to tell him about the pregnancy. But when he suddenly becomes intimate, Nandini recoils. Enraged, Raaj shoves her out of the room.
Elsewhere, Kunal searches for insurance papers in the wardrobe. As Mauli steps out to check Dida’s blood pressure, a photograph slips to the floor. Picking it up, Kunal freezes—it’s of Mauli and Nandini. Shocked, he realizes Anamika is actually Nandini, Mrs. Rajdeep Thakur. His mind races with worry, knowing how much it would pain Mauli to discover her dear friend trapped in such a life. He resolves to share this with her as soon as possible.

In the car, Mauli tells Kunal that to him she was once just a stranger named Anamika—and she still is. Kunal, stunned, reveals that she is the same Nandini he rescued on the Goa highway. Shock deepens as Mauli admits she knows Rajdeep. At the same time, Rajdeep orders Ahuja to prepare divorce papers.
