Kunal calls Rajdeep to confirm their meeting, reminding him of the deal they had discussed in Goa. Casually, he adds that his wife would also like to join since she is a doctor, and suggests Rajdeep bring his wife along too. When Kunal tells Mauli, her eyes light up with joy. She says this is the greatest gift he has ever given her. Kunal smiles but admits he feels a little nervous — from now on, he jokes, her love will have to be shared with someone else. Mauli playfully slaps his arm and tells him that he’ll only end up with another friend in Nandini. She offers him a reward for bringing Nandini back into her life and asks what he wants. With a grin, Kunal simply demands a cup of tea. Mauli sighs in irritation at his simplicity. Later, the two lie down together, both filled with excitement and nerves, knowing tomorrow will be an important day.

That evening, Nandini sits in her room, practicing how she might tell Raaj about her pregnancy. When he comes home, she gathers her courage. But before she can say anything, he casually mentions his business meeting with a doctor tomorrow and dismissively tells her to go practice eating properly so she doesn’t embarrass him. Within moments, he drifts off to sleep, leaving her silent and heavy-hearted. The next morning, Kunal stands on the balcony with Mauli. He tells her that her eyes are glowing, as though she spent the night dreaming about the reunion. Mauli admits she’s nervous — how will she face Nandini after all these years? Kunal reassures her that Nandini will be just as happy to see her.
Meanwhile, Nandini suffers severe nausea and morning sickness. She switches on the AC and lies weakly on the couch. Raaj storms in, demanding to know where his morning tea and breakfast are. Disgusted, he criticizes her for not cleaning the house, pointing out the dust around. Before leaving, he orders her to visit the parlor and look presentable for the meeting.
At Mauli’s home, she enjoys her breakfast with childlike excitement, even spreading extra butter on her toast. Watching her, Dida remarks that she hopes the broken friendship will finally mend. Even if Nandini hadn’t missed Mauli in all these years, Mauli’s loyalty had never wavered. Mamma gently says that sometimes even one-sided relationships last for years, held together by the hope that a single thread will survive. She tells Mauli it’s time to move forward, whatever the outcome. Mauli smiles, her heart full of anticipation. In Nandini’s room, as she gets ready, Raaj shoves her roughly aside near the dresser. Her sindoor box falls to the ground, scattering red powder everywhere. Seeing it as a bad omen, she bends to collect it, but Raaj quickly pulls her up. He scolds her about her expensive dress and freshly done manicure, insisting she shouldn’t ruin them. Without concern for her feelings, he rushes her out for the meeting.
Elsewhere, Mauli is brushing her hair when her mangalsutra gets tangled and snaps, beads scattering across the floor. Holding them in her hand, she feels uneasy, as though fate is playing a cruel trick. Mamma enters and sees her upset. Mauli apologizes, but Mamma gently consoles her, saying these things happen and shouldn’t spoil the day. She encourages her to focus on the meeting — after all, Kunal is already waiting at the hotel.
Mauli arrives at the hotel and quickly calls Kunal, her nerves on edge. She says she can’t face Rajdeep alone and begs him to hurry. Just then, Rajdeep steps out of his car. Panicked, Mauli turns her face away and hides. He walks closer, eyeing her, and tries to flirt, thinking she is just another lone woman in the hotel. Disgusted, Mauli escapes the situation by moving to the reception area. She calls Kunal again, urging him to come before Rajdeep leaves. Just as she looks around anxiously, she catches sight of Nandini stepping inside — her reflection visible in the back of a mirror. Mauli’s heart races as she realizes the moment she has been waiting for is finally here.

Nandini and Mauli come face to face after eight long years. But before they can truly embrace, Nandini notices a child playing dangerously by the pool. In her rush to save him, she falls into the water. Kunal dives in and pulls her out to safety. Later, he formally introduces Rajdeep to his wife — Dr. Mauli Malhotra. In the car, Nandini thanks Rajdeep, unaware of his cruelty, for giving her the chance to reunite with her long-lost friend.
