After discovering Suraj in a terrible state, Deepa becomes determined to find out what really happened to him. She can’t ignore how much he has changed — he looks weak, confused, and lost. Deepa wants to know who brought him to this condition and why. She decides to visit the mental hospital where Suraj had been kept for months. The hospital is quiet and far from the main city. Deepa walks in and asks to meet the doctor who had been treating him. She is guided to a senior doctor, who listens carefully as Deepa explains who she is. The doctor seems surprised to hear Suraj’s real name and story. He tells Deepa that the man was admitted without any proper identity. Someone had dropped him off, claimed to be a relative, and disappeared. Suraj was confused and unable to say who he was. The hospital assumed it was a case of memory loss caused by trauma.

As Deepa listens, she realizes that something is not right. The doctor adds that Suraj never had visitors, and there was no official record of an accident. What shocks Deepa more is when the doctor reveals that in his sleep, Suraj used to whisper the names “Shona” and “Rupa.” Once, he even mentioned the name “Deepa.” Deepa’s eyes fill with tears. Even though he lost his memory, Suraj still remembered her and the children deep down. This gives her hope — but also raises questions. Who wanted Suraj to disappear? Who left him at the hospital without any details? Before she leaves, the doctor gives her a final warning. He says Suraj didn’t just suffer an accident — it looked like someone wanted him to be forgotten. He advises her to be careful as she digs deeper.
Now, Deepa knows she must uncover the truth. Suraj didn’t just lose his memory — someone tried to erase his entire life. And Deepa won’t rest until she finds out who did it and brings her husband back completely.
