With Shona and Rupa beside her, she arrives determined to uncover the truth — a truth that her soul already believes: Suraj is alive. Every step through the unfamiliar streets fills her with both fear and anticipation. Something inside tells her that the answers she’s been searching for lie hidden in this quiet, rural town. But Mohanpur proves more dangerous than expected. As Deepa searches for any sign of Suraj, the children unknowingly wander away from her side and fall into trouble. A group of shady men spots the children alone and attempts to corner them. Shona and Rupa, though brave, are still young and terrified. Just when things seem to take a dark turn, a man emerges from the shadows — fierce, protective, and instinctively heroic. It is Suraj.

His entrance is nothing short of dramatic. Suraj charges forward, standing between the men and the children, his eyes flashing with a sense of purpose. Though he doesn’t fully understand why he’s risking his safety for these strangers, something deep within him knows they’re not strangers at all. The moment he grabs their hands to pull them to safety, his mind is flooded with flickering memories — Deepa’s voice, the laughter of children, fleeting images of a happy home. As soon as Shona and Rupa are safe, Suraj collapses, clutching his head in pain. The rush of emotion and memory leaves him disoriented and weak. Deepa runs to his side, her heart breaking as she watches the man she loves so dearly suffer, so close yet still so far from remembering her completely. Tears fill her eyes as she whispers his name, hoping her voice will awaken more fragments of his past.
Back at a small medical center in Mohanpur, Suraj is treated for exhaustion. His body is stable, but his mind remains lost in chaos. As Deepa waits anxiously, she decides it’s time to understand what really happened to him. She heads to the local police station, clutching onto any possible lead. There, Deepa speaks with officers who vaguely recall a man who had been found unconscious months ago after a roadside accident near the village. He had no ID, no contact information — nothing to link him back to a family. The case had been forgotten, just like Suraj’s memories. Deepa urges them to re-open the file and look into nearby surveillance or witness reports from that time. Her voice shakes with emotion, but her will is unbreakable.
The officers begin to cooperate, moved by her determination. Every detail they uncover strengthens Deepa’s belief that the man they found was indeed Suraj.
As the day ends, Deepa returns to Suraj’s bedside with Shona and Rupa, watching over the man who once gave them so much love — and who unknowingly just did it again. Though his memories may be lost, his soul still recognizes his family. And Deepa, unshaken by the trials, silently promises that she won’t stop until he remembers everything.
